There might well be, ffbj. The Vault is a big place. *grins* I made these few scripts a while back in reponse to a player request on my server. I wouldn't be surprised if there is a simplier way to do it that does not involve editing the specific spell script to remove the visual effects.

That being said, if there are additional scripts you want altered in this way to remove the visuals, it is fairly easy to do. Just leave me a list. I won't get to it until January though.
