So these are two pumpkins I have done recently because ME1 &2 are obviously awesome and deserve some Halloween carvings. Probably a good 5 hours devoted to each, done with simple wood carving tools cutting only slightly into the surface of the pumpkin, only going all the way through for the really bright highlight areas. I plan on doing another Mass Effect related one this year, not sure what to do yet though.

I want to do a reaper of some sort actually, not sure what I'd do for it though, the human hybrid/red AI interface that you actually talk to/whole ship like Sovereign

Those are amazing! I'm very impressed with all the intricate details, from Saren's teeth to Mordin's crinkly skin.

As for a possible third...How about a big ol' chubby Biotic God Pumpkin? XD

Excellent work on both, especially the detail on Mordin. A Geth, Krogan, or possibly Quarian could make for a good third carving, although those might be difficult to make distinguishable.

Mine don't smell too terrible actually because I don't carve all the way through, they also rot a lot slower because of that.

If you want to do a Reaper, might I suggest something based on this pic of Sovereign.



The color of the pumpkin would go well with it.



Or perhaps one of TIM, both the color & rounded shape of the pumpkin could look cool for the background/orange-red sun look in his office.

Yeah something like that picture is what I thought would work best for a Reaper. Might have to go with that. TIM never occurred to me, but now that I think of it, that could definitely work well too, would have to do some serious detail work on the exploding star he is watching, lol.

Garrus would be awesome for sure, but I already did Saren which covers my Turian fix for the moment, heh. Legion could be interesting because of the bright eye glare thing that all Geth have.

Pics save all! I would actually go with one of TIM or Legion. Miranda would make a good one, as well, but she's not my fave, so that's just my opinion .. I likes me some Jack

But all in all, these are awesome! You've got some true talent! I can barely carve a decent Jack-O-Lantern and make it come out looking right lol..

I don't think I want to do anyone who's not really a "main" character per se, like Udina or Conrad Verner. Right now I'm leaning towards TIM, a reaper, or Legion
