Yes, I agree, but does she only look like that when she is wearing her individualized clothes? Remember, Bethany still looks like a 'size zero with J cups', like you said.

You mean like if we put her in another type of clothing her body shape will be closer to the more 'traditional' style? It's possible, but hopefully not, I really like the direction they've gone with her.  Would be a shame to ruin it if you want her wearing something different.

I've never heard a guy call a girl fat and meant good by it, but you can try to, if you so choose.  And please. . .don't try and use phat, you'll embarrass yourself.

Well I don't know how you look at her in this picture but to me she looks a little fat. Maybe because of the angle of the picture and the position. I am not saying she is fat, she just looks fat but then it would be impossible for Isabela to be fat. Anyway I also don't like the new look. The face just seems off from the original.

Yeah, that's what I mean. And I'm 90% sure that's what will happen, since it's been confirmed your body type will change depending on clothing. For example, in mage robes your character appears thin, and in armour he/she will be more muscled. So it will depend on what type of clothing you will put on Isabela. If you put robes on her, she'll look like Beth. Not sure about rogue armour, maybe that'll be more sensible.

Gimp? You do realize, with the dex bonus factored in, a rogue would do more damage with daggers than swords, right?

Let me clear this up with a little logic: there is a distinction between "looks fat" and "looks like she has fat on her." The former is a colloquial way of saying she looks too fat. The latter is merely a statement of fact and has no normative (i.e. good/bad) implications. 

Woman have fat on their bodies in higher proportions than men -- this is a fact. In this regard she looks to have a realistic build for the average well nourished human female. To say she looks "too fat" is a normative claim which is subjective not only culturally but individually as well. That debate is pointless as it's so utterly subjective as to have no basis for discussion. Even if it were true, what would it matter? Fat people can't be adventurers? Historically speaking that would be false (the Mongols spring immediately to mind).

Considering she's a PIRATE, plate isn't exactly a useful armor type in her line of work.

I'm sure the gold will drown her as much as armor will. <_<

She's also wearing loose items that can be grabbed by the enemy (including her hair) so yeah. Not exactly useful in her line of work either.

To be fair she does seem to be given different proportions than what was "normal" for human females in DAO -- it seems like the "8 head tall" vs "7 head tall" diffference all over again, and when that slimmer version is the "norm" then it does make Isabela relatively thicker. But that's in DAO reality, not in ours.
