Not all gamers can enjoy text based games.

All silliness aside, graphics are important but to me design and creativity are more important than technical achievements. I think Super Mario Galaxy and Okami look much better than Crysis.

Going over some points:
- Some better looking architecture and buildings this time around
- I love the Hawke of the Destiny trailer, but this one looks somewhat different, and I hate it
- More action based animations is a good direction, but there are certain instances where they're still too snappy, especially the jumping downward slash, qunari starting to dash, hawke doing a whirlwind slash, etc. More actiony animations are good, but it also come close to breaking believability particular those that seemed to break the laws of physics (not magic, just plain physical attack), e.g. Isabella slashing a Qunari, the heavily weighed figure being slammed back as if being hit by a powerful ramming force instead a downward slash from a short sword, templar slammed back too quickly and unnaturally when it seemed like Hawke just touched him. Ah, maybe I'm nitpicking.
- Flemeth looks good
- Is it me, or did Isabella looked doll-like? To be honest, her face doesn't look like a well designed at all.
- More actiony spell casting - good

I was expecting something more - atleast a few seconds of uninterrupted, non-slow mo action footage to see how the game will play. Don't understand why it has to shift focus every few frames (and 25% of that video is the Bioware logo and pre-order stuff - it's nice that they've had time to rework the Dragon-Bioware-EA intro)

Great trailer! Very well chosen music track, really got me excited. The graphics looked really good in movement and I can easily see the animations have vastly improved from Origins. And even though the art style has changed I still felt I was watching a Dragon Age trailer. I love Varric's voice! But the new Cassandra look didn't really work for me, she seemed old. Still, a very well paced, overall effective trailer that really lifted my anticipation to another level!

Liked the new darkspawn look in that trailer, was on the fence for it but for some reason they looked awesome in the trailer

Just get me something clear, about the preorder at the end. It said preorder before 1/11/11. They mean 11th January 2011 right? Just making this clear, we usually would use 11/1/11 here, but I guess it looks cooler how they put it.

I love the outfits, it's very different from Origins but since Hawke wears not so classy clothes when he flees Lothering ( 00:37) I can use my "suspension of disbelief" and thinks the rest of the trailer as proof that Ferelden is indead a backward country of dog lovers with no sens of style whatsoever(my own warden would kill me for such words).

Even templars have nice armors (nice helmet at 00:44)

The outfits are beautiful and give the characters a lot of ... character. Plus you have outdone yourselves with Kirkwall buildings. The jewelry displayed in the trailer is really ornemental and fits well both Varic and Isabella.

Bethany's anger is scary.

Varic is cool (his voice is perfect, chain the VA to a wall and keep him), his crossbow made me want to use a crossbow for the first time in years.

Cassandra looks angry and desperate, I really hope we get to see her more than 5 minutes ingame (I remember Awakening !)

The Qnari are supercool, sign me up for the DLC where we impersonate a Qnari leader. Their armor is very impressive and I hope we get to have one with a similar design for our character (maybe with other colors ?).

Canon Hawke has a great presence.

I'm not that enthusiastic about the darkspawns armor, maybe it will grow on me. Their faces are great but I do find them a bit to "clean".

Animations are great, textures are great, areas look great but we don't see much of them (the desert really looks empty, I don't know if it's a good thing).

The two daggers wielding guy who is shot by Varic : antivan crow ?



Who's the armored lady with the redscarf on the head (00:47), a Kirkwall official ?



I want the music on my MP3 player... Do I have to wait until next year ?
