Also, when Isabela throws the knife. Is that a face that appears on the handle..? I might take a picture if anyone else thought the saw it, at first I thought it was reflection..but it looks like it's on the handle itself. Meh.
Probably just 'nuthin.

While I think the trailer is ok, I would like to see some actul gameplay/some of the voice work (but its great to finally get some more info on DA2Dragon Age1103 wrote...
Well that trailer just confirmed my fears. lol. I think I'll pass on this game. I prefer old school games and the new ME dialogue will most likely be very limited just like ME 2 in comparison to Origins. Plus I prefer a tactical combat over a mindless hack n slash console combat system. A fully voiced non customizable character is also a pretty big let down. I think I actually like the new art style and a lot but one thing will not keep my attention when they have changed so much.
Still might rent it though! Gotta try it since it is Bioware.

I think I might pre-order DA2 through EA now... Even though their EA Scam program is awfully terrible.

Don’t know if i am watching the same video as everybody but was not impressed.

Agreed, it's a collection of cut scenes and cinematics nothing really showing actual gameplay. I'm basing my opinion on gameplay from the leaked videos.
On a positive note, I'm continually impressed by the detail and design of some of the clothes and armors (except dawkspawn), which is an improvement over DA:O.

either bioware is keeping content beyond button mashing fighting hidden until the last moment, or this is the main content of the game and any attempt at rpg has gone out of the window.

pre order before 1/11/11 to get the extra content?! it's out in March right? Oh my mistake I'm a brit and we change the month and the day round over here.
Haha, I made the same mistake, I was like "What!? 1 November... why?!" After that I remembered that Americans like to do everything backwards.

As to the gameplay itself, I don't see much difference between this and the "gameplay footage that cannot be named" floating about on youtube. *shrugs*
Thanks for putting this out.

The funny thing is that BioWare is (mostly) Canadian. Don't Canadians also use the dd/mm/yyyy format too?

I just wish the graphics between DA:O and ME were comparable. Granted it's impossible to compare style, but the ME series is a lot cleaner, smoother, and crisper compared to DA:O.

Meh. I can't believe people are actually impressed by this.
So BioWare changes the art style and look to try and make the game stand out, only to have the whole thing look like the same generic gritty brown crap that everybody else is putting out these days. Wow... that's innovation and taking the genre and universe forward, that is.
This.

In house rpg engine Vs Unreal fps engine that has been evolving for over a decade (I just wish ME2 had a lot more rpg), but I do agree: great story with great game mechanic and animations, deserve great music with stunning graphics

Can we at least side with the Templars in DA2? You know, in a way that isn't a complete ****** move on Hawke's part?
