That argument here boils down to having adult expectations. Sure, in Snuggletown, RPGs come with sentence assembly programs and you can choose to say anything you want. In reality, the best compromise is to have a quick blurb covering what your Hawkette will say, alongside an icon further clarifying your character's attitude. It's a great way to communicate to the player what the character will do.
Besides, extensive deliberation has no place in a video game. Video games are for entertainment. Deliberation is what you do when deciding the best choice of action at work.
You should also deliberate on the subject of the thread.
