Some people like continuity.

Yes!  Hopefully, they keep the continuity of Isabella's bisexual orientation:wub:

Why do I get the feeling that companions will have only 1 or 2 unique outfits a la Mass Effect 2? This stemmed from the talk about pants. So can a female rogue PC dress the same way as Isabela?

Yeah, this is what I fear too. Hopefully it is only to make them more distinct in the trailers.

Also note that they've said your main route to becoming friends with particular party members if through doing stuff with them, rather than through conversation options. Seems a lot like ME2 to me.

So is it safe to call it Dragon Effect yet or no?

Well to be fair it can't be me2 with out the key element to immersion that me2 had; which was the score screen. It made me feel like i was there.. like.. really there ya know?

Totally, that score screen really screamed out immersion. Hey didn't one of the con goers mention a score screen? Granted his english wasn't great which is understandable considering it was in Europe or Germany or whereever it was. But I could have sworn he mentioned one.

A quick question, what has this got to do with Isabela?

Keep this on topic about DA2. If you want to talk about ME2, the ME forums are right here.

This is relevant, we are after all talking about possible similarities between the titles.

People are talking about redesigns right now... Have people forgotten the amount of times that Morrigan was redesigned, or even Leliana? User-created-content, granted. But, still...

It's just cosmetic, man. Even if someone thinks she looks like a sheman, heman or whatever...it can be changed...

I just want to hear her voice! D:

Good thing DA2 will come with an update to the toolset... oh wait. Laidlaw's arm is getting tired of holding that carrot, he'll soon reveal they won't release it.

Even if a toolset is released, that does nothing for those of us who play consoles.

Sucks to be you, bro.

So that's the same Isabella, huh?

"If it ain't broke, don't fix it" didn't work on her, did it?

Didn't work on the darkspawn either.

No, not at all. While they were trying to "fix" her, they broke her face. But they say they're still working on it, so hopefull it'll turn out alright in the end. Carver has the problem twice as bad, after all.

So essentially, the trolls have gotten so miserable, they can find a way to complain about a hot bi sexual woman that doesn't wear pants. Wow.

I read where David Gaider said something like "we had the chance to change how she looked, so we took it" (I apologize for paraphrasing)

That's not ALWAYS a good thing, you know.

Thread's about Isabella.  I distinctly don't remember her turning up in Mass Effect 2.  She's not like Boo, who can be in all places and all times with his adorable fuzzy awesomitude.

I'd be happy to see her again.  And for those of you who think she's unattractive, boo hoo.  Romance someone else, or just not at all.  It's not like Hawke's only problem lies in getting his/her mack on.  YAY, PROBLEM SOLVED! :D

That's bogus. Most of the dissenters are not trolling. If you block everything from the neck down she seriously looks like a man. As for the permiscuity thing, well some people have different values than others. That doesn't make them all trolls.

The chin is not that wide. I think the small lips is what causes that effect.

Think it's combination of that, the lighting and the face texture. The wallpaper image is much more flattering and her face looks normal on it. There could be some difference between the shape of cgi and in-game models, though.

...I can change that outfit right? Because a bisexual woman without any pants isn't my cup of tea. And I'd rather not have to sigh over it as often as I do Miranda's catsuit in ME.

...No one without any pants is my cup of tea to be honest. I'd rather be able to take her with me instead of looking at her, sighing heavily and leaving her wherever you find her.

Notice the differences on and below the jaw line. Also the shadow at the point of the chin. The matter is more all the extra flesh that seems to be just below the chin and jaw, and not so much the sizes of the chin and jaw themselves.

You think she'll be the bi-option for romances? She was bisexual in Origins, but now that she's DA2's leading lady...

Millions of Spider-Man fans are similarly distressed whenever a new artist draws the character since, for example, the Ramos Spider-Man, the Deodato Spider-Man, the Romita Jr. Spider-Man, and the McFarlane Spider-Man look very different from each other. Personally, I am shocked--SHOCKED, i say--that Spider-Man can stay the same character despite going through so many appearance changes without any character ever commenting on it. ;)

This isn't a long running, decade spanning comic here. Thank you
