I don't mind the redesign itself--I think she looks better now (at least in her wallpaper--she has some weird angles to her face)--but...couldn't she at least wear hotpants so it's less obvious that the game designers are shoving her panties in your face every second?

EDIT: Also, I won't mind a voice actor change. She sounded exactly like Anora and I couldn't get over it.

While in the grand scheme its not that big of a deal, it ties into every other change in art direction. Apparently nothing in the DA universe from the novels, to origins, and on can ever be considered cannon or consistent.

It's great to see some of the old characters from DA:O being included and makes me interested to see which other ones they are planning on bringing back

She was the same actress as Anora, actually. That's one of the reasons for the change. We didn't want major characters in DA2 to share voice actors with major characters in DAO (unless they were the same character, of course). And you heard a lot more from Anora than you did from Isabela.

Why do I get the feeling that companions will have only 1 or 2 unique outfits a la Mass Effect 2? This stemmed from the talk about pants. So can a female rogue PC dress the same way as Isabela?

I accept your retcon, I can't not accept it but saying it was down to the "Lighting in the pearl" is pretty cheap don't you think. My guy had black hair and occaisonally it'd have a purple tint but that was it, you could still see what skin tone he is. I know you redesigned her just messes her continuity up a little bit.

I don't really like romancing "looses" (****ty) women in games or real life but it'll be handy to have a rogue and I'm sure she has an interesting back story. Maybe Casavir will appear.

Yeah, this is what I fear too. Hopefully it is only to make them more distinct in the trailers.

I think she'd be perfect if her mouth wasn't so teeny tiny. I like that she has actual muscle tone instead of it being some elongated flesh-colored blob.

Where are you getting black? Is she supposed to be black? I don't see it.

Yeah I don't paticularly agree with it but it does make sense for her to wear light clothing then again I wanted to make an overweight unibrowed sociopath (which was swiftly denied by multiple devs).
