I just created a mage character and I'm sort of torn on whether to specialize in Arcane Warrior or Blood Magic at level 7.

What do you think is more useful? I was thinking Arcane spec considering you would have access to some pretty handy armor at the lower levels of the game.

What do you guys think? Blood or Arcane first?

After having taken blood first, I honestly can't say I used it as much as I thought I would. I think the AW's ability to use some better armor would help more early on. The blood magic skills really didn't see much use at all on my play through. Granted, there were a few times I was very glad I had the power of blood (?), but my HP tended to be too low to make good use out of it in general; only Blood Boil got much use, and even then it didn't seem all that effective to me.

i prefered aw.. since i use spells and stuff to cc and after it, i started smacking ppl with my sword and shield
