in ME1 you can get your very own apartment after you complete this DLC, basically your very own planet. i thought was a very fun dlc and very challenging. would have been nicer if it was a bit bigger though. i know some people rather have more options to costumize the captain loft room. but i think would be nice to have this again in ME2 or 3.
anyone else liked the apartment you get after finishing the pinnacle dlc?

Yes. I did, and I wish I could go back to it, but I can't.
And I also had fun with the DLC, it felt good to last on a survival mission on hardcore for an hour. My xbox died before I could cash in though, which sucked.

Do you get more XP the longer you last on a survival mission?

I think it only depends on your level. A pity they didn´t do the scenario to allow to get lvl 60 in one playthrough. After all, you most likely need Specter X weapons, and thus lvl 50+ to clear Hunt scenarios in PS in Hardcore and Insanty

I didn't love Pinnacle Station (though I don't hate it the way a lot of the fanbase seems to), but I did think the apartment was great, and I really want it back. It was scenic, and quiet, and gave me a way to burn all that surplus cash and a reason to actually use grenades. And I loved that my mainShep, who hates hot temperatures, had this swanky bachelor pad in the middle of a blazing desert. I always go there to make my final pre-Ilos save, it just feels right.

Dunno, there's nothing to do there. It'd be interesting if Shep could sit down and watch some vids or listne to some music, but no, it's just an empty room with a nice view and a terminal to buy random items. Shep's cabin in the SR2 is way better than that apartment.

The apartment = good; getting there = the most frustrating, inconsistent, rage inducing experience of any videogame ever. NEVER play Pinnacle Station again.

I was hoping to see this extended in ME2. But hopefully now in ME3.
Would be nice to have a little home away from home. + Victory party after reapers get sent packing.

I really liked it, too. It had a lot of neat touches, such as the Mako parked outside. Ah, Mako, how I miss you...
This, the DLC itself was such a grating experience that I feel the people who played it should definitely be given another virtual headpat in the form of a returning pad.

I haven't yet played pinnacle, are you able to continually go back to this apartment? I might download pinnacle just because of the apartment

Yeah, you can. Once you've got the apartment you can go there anytime.

I really enjoyed playing this DLC and I am not a shooter type person. I loved having my own pad just wish I could have the team there for a victory party after Mass Effect 3. Go for a drive with LI have music and dancing. I hated the Mako at first but after I got the hang of it I really liked it. I did learn to go sideways up the mountains was quicker than trying to go straight up them. If you get stuck the use the jump to bounce out and it was fun to try the jump after bouncing up a bump and see how far you could travel. My crew wants a medal for surviving my driving. ha!! I liked the Hammerhead after I learned the controls were messed up for the PC and what to use to make it work right. Again my crew asked for survival medal with my driving. ha! My crew said they would absolutely mutiny if I ever flew they want Joker to do the flying and for me to do the shooting ha!

There's a pad reward after finishing Pinnacle Station?! Wish I'd bothered completing it now.

It's a great reward. Too bad you only get it through Pinnacle Station.

Did you play it with Colossus Armor, level X, and spectre master gear level X? How bout high explosive rounds X, inferno rounds X, and a level 58 character? It really is an entirely different experience. On hardcore I lasted an hour on the first couple survival missions, and only the final mission I had to redo.
You also need to find the safe zones.

Liara's apartment was much nicer. Maybe she'll loan it out considering she's not using it.

Maybe the PS apartment got repo'd after Shep dies in ME2. Same might've happened to Liara's pad, since she's probably officially dead after LotSB.

Yes, I did and I want it back.

Since I fail hard at any form of combat, I liked Pinnacle Station because it forced me to get good at it. The apartment was sweet, if for nothing other than cheap Colossus armor and a place to replenish grenades.

I could see why a console gamer might hate Pinnacle Station(the controller just doesnt work well enough for this) but if your on pc, even on hardcore/insanity its a joke.

I liked Pinnacle Station. It's about the only part of the game that forced you to hone shooting skills and command squadmates. Ahern's turian simulation would be almost impossible to survive with ME2's combat mechanics, due to the lack of cover for you to turtle behind.

I never got it...is it worth playing through Pin Station?

I only ever had trouble with the survival missions.
I played shock trooper and had a hard time dying once I eclipsed the record. I had the console freeze on me the first few times I did survival because of how long I was lasting and this was on Insanity with a lvl ~40+ shock trooper.
I recommend dying before you get to 5 minutes to not get the game unstable.
