I had the same problem using the new Origin (EADM) client. REinstalling didn't work the updater gave me a message about " / S" error, whatever that meant. My last ditch was to install one of the DLC standalone (Witch Hunt) from my bioware registered game content. I was going to do it all manually even the .datzip but didn't need to. Once Witchhunt installed all DLC became authorized.

Ok I'm aware this post has been going on for some time and all. I was reading everyone's post, and sadly I'm still bit lost.
I have DAOUE, I downloaded it from Steam.
The first night I played everything was working fine I manage to put in 30hours of play then shut everything Down for a break. When I tried to go back and play my save file, that's when it gave me the warning that
(this saved file requires etc etc)
So course I was very upset. I've manage to get back into that save file but everything I earned such as the
(golem, and soldiers peak, armor as well.)
So I reinstall, so I think.
Started a new file, still having the same issue, but now (soldiers peak,(golem village) won't even appear on my map.
I'm using steam for this game, also on Windows seven.
Please help
Big thanks in advanced and for the repeat "sorry"

There is a solutions roundup thread and a DLC troubleshooting FAQ pinned to the top of this forum. Try the solutions listed there, and then if none of those resolve the issue, post your own thread with the information requested in Raen's "Read first" thread (also pinned to the top) along with what solutions you tried and what happened when you tried them.

I'm having the same issue. I'll try and download and install Witch Hunt in the hopes it authorizes everything according to the previous post.

Installing WH is unlikely to fix your problem. A large number of things can cause authorization issues. See the solutions round-up thread pinned to the top of this forum with links to solutions to the most common causes. There is also a 1.05 beta patch (information thread also pinned to the top of the forum) that fixes all authorization issues. It can cause long load times after playing for a while. Those are resolved by restarting the game, but it is why the patch is still in beta while the devs track down the cause. If you require further assistance, please see the read first thread also pinned to the top of this forum and start your own thread with the necessary information.

guys i have the solution and it works 10000000% promise so this is what you have to do:
Locate AddIns.xml in "C:/Users/(Username)/Documents/Bioware/Dragon Age/Settings" and edit it using WordPad or any XML editor. Replace allRequiresAuthorization="1" with RequiresAuthorization="0".
Run the game and check to see if everything worked!

Thank you so much xnamxoutlawx!!! Just redownloaded DA and everything has been on lockdown. Getting help from steam or EA is just not possible. As long as they have the money, the gamers and their purchased-but-still-locked-content can go straight to hell. Or at least, that's the message they send loud and clear. Thanks again!!!

Bought the Ultimate Ed. today and had the same problem, mainly all the items that had come with my registered "Collectors Ed." was showing un-authorized.
The xnamxoutlawx fix worked perfectly, could even load my last save game
Thanks a ton!
