Ok, I've contacted EA again through the live chat and got codes to redeem: warden's keep, blood dragon armor, stone prisoner, witch hunt, return to ostagar and leliana's song.

But I'm still missing the golems of amgarrak, the darkspawn chronicles and feastday gifts and pranks. The guy from EA said that those were not downloadable and so he didn't have redeem codes to give me... he also told me to try again later to see if they would become authorised... =/

How do I get these other DLCs to become authorised?

Same problem with the "Ultimate Edition" and their unauthorized DLC. A few hours ago I bought the game through EA Store and since then, after proper installation, adequate records and hours of reading in these very forums, the problem persists. For my part, I am interested in ALL the content to enable the editing features and enjoy from beginning to end, because that's the only reason behind the purchase.

I know it is working on a solution and I encourage those involved to continue with it. I can not think any form of work that has not been or is already doing, except to require EA acquired the entire contents (game) or refund (money). : /

Well, patience people, all coming!

So this is still not fixed? I followed Feranando Melo's thread and everything checks out, I have the DLC on this account and I am using the same e-mail address and still get unauthorized.



Is there anyway I can play this without messing with game files? It sucks that this is much more complicated than it needs to be.

I contacted EA through live chat and the guy from EA redeemed all DLC's for me.

First time, he forgot Witch Hunt and Golems from Amgarrak, but when i contacted him again he gave me the redeem codes so i was able to redeem it.

EA just emailed me my redeem code, it added to what had already been manually redeemed by EA live chat people the collectors edition items. Thats cool, but witchcraft (awakening), witchcraft (origins) and blightblood (awakening) are still missing from my entitlements page and unauthorised in-game. Even after I used the proper redeem code that was missing in the purchase confirmation e-mail.



I'm looking forward to that 24 hour mark on Feranando Melo's post, I suspect this little problem might be on Biowares side. Did this happen to anyone else apart from me and neonism?

I sent my first email on the 31st... So it took a while. I also spoke to someone on their live chat everytime we found out something new, like when I found out it wasn't only me or when neonism reported they were manually redeeming the DLC into our accounts.

If the DLC is attached to your account and you still see unauthorized in the game, then this is definitely an updater service issue. Please follow the steps in the thread, including jumping to the other threads that may have more details - this includes links to a beta utility to help kick-start the updater, and step by step guides to troubleshoot what is happening and how to manually start it (or re-install it) depending on your specific issue.

Just used the EA chat after using the email system and getting no where after 72 hours. Explained that I was not sent the code for the DLCs and he sent me codes for the individual DLCs to add to my account manually. So those of you still waiting for EA to e-mail you back should go to support.ea.com/chat instead and you will get it sorted out much more quickly. Just make sure you list all the individual DLCs, they dont seem to have any codes to unlock all the content at once.

For Steam users, this simple fix I saw in the Steam forums (posted by Warlord STE) fixed my issue:



find your dragon age folder, you may have saved it else where but this is how I find mine.



C:\\Program Files \\ Steam \\ steamapps \\ common \\ dragon age ultimate edition



once your in there find the file that says REDIST should be near the bottom, once in there run the file that says DAOU_UpdateAddinsXML_Steam when that finishes run the other file called DAUServiceSetup_Steam, when both have finished start up your dragon age ultimate and hopefully everything should be working.

 I'm still awaiting reactions from 2 mails send to ea support in the netherlands about this issue. One send this morning (reply to an earlier mail this week) and the other one yesterday as I was told when I called support. 

Earlier this week I also used the mail support system on ea.com. This method however, turns out to be the most worthless. Even after explaining the situation they still gave some random answers. Like manual uninstalling the DLC etc. I had a feeling they didnt even read my messages properly. So don't try that. It's not just me, Neonism had the same experience. <_<

Tried live chat again but they said my issue was too complex and they had passed it to their seniors and I would be contacted by e-mail... still 3 DLCs missing authorization... =(

The fact that I have to follow all these threads and do all this research for commercial software (not mods) is an embarrassment. I should not have to be a software engineer to be able to use something that I paid for. Ridiculous.

ok, I'm happy to tell you that i just finished a long session on ea chat. So prepare for it to take a while. They gave me all the DLC promo codes required and now everything is listed on my profile!



I can recommend this method of support to anyone with the same issue! And now I'm gonna check to see if it's all good!

Hmm you guys who are getting individual DLC codes from the EA live chat will probably end up missing the collector edition items that are included in the ultimate edition. I know this because I've started contacting EA back on the 31st and as I said above, they mailed me today the single code to redeem every DLC that should have come with the ultimate edition, and it contained them.

Not that big of a deal, I'll probably end up avoiding using them anyway. Just thought I should let it be known.

I'm one of those ending up with DA:O Ultimate not authorized DLC. When I bought the digital version I read that I should receive an e-mail with CD code and an e-mail with DLC code. I never received the e-mail with DLC code.

Now here's the point. I had already a bad accident with Bioware in the past with NWN2 with a bug that stopped me from continuing the game. After many e-mails to the support staff, I received NO ANSWER. I promised to myself that NEVER I'LL BUY A BIOWARE GAME IN FUTURE.

Now I've done the same mistake buying one. And I'm rewarded with the same issues, a game that has problems with DLC, many "shamanistic-like" attempts to fix it, but no real answer or fix to help those that bought the game.

I hope that Bioware fix this issue FAST or these will be last money they'd have from me.

for what it's worth I got the issue solved... sort of

it seems to be a DAupdater issue as mentioned, but it appears to me it kind of worked the other way

I had installed the 1.03 patch for the updater only - not sure if that was what 'fixed' it or if it's coincidence, but after that I was able to access my saved games again, but only when I clicked resume...



I *think* it first recognizes that the DLC is there and is authorized, but if I wait to long (or try to switch the character or load a specific save) it catches up and the DLC becomes unauthorized... which then prevents me from loading the save due to missing DLC...



that's easily fixed by not logging in, so I'm good for now

just posting this, in case others have the same problem and it might fix their issues, too, because the whole "wait for it to update" obviously is counter-productive in this case ^_~

I encourage you to send private message to Fernando Melo. He solved my problem with redeem code for Ultimate Edition in few hours.
