I actually quite like it. Perhaps not the color, but the cut.



I don't know. Something about long hair consistently bugs me, especially for warriors.

I'm confused about what the real world parallels to these characters are, at this point.

I believe Gaider said darker skinned Humans were in Rivain and Nevarra in a PAX interview, but the Rivaini look like Gypsy/Mediterranean, and I have no idea what Cassandra is supposed to be. I used to use the regions as justification for why my dark skinned characters were in Ferelden. . .But I suppose now I don't know which region to think of my character to be from . . .

But more to the point, the only issue I have with Cassandra is her eyebrows don't match the hair. . .it bugs me.

This was my first thought as well.
I certainly preferred the black/long hair, but i'll get over it.
As of now it kind of feels like they copy and pasted her current grey hairstyle onto her head without updating the rest of her face to match. (Maybe that's exactly what they did? )

Thats exactly what I thought when I saw her white hair.

I vastly preferred her with dark black hair slicked back like the concept art:

Yes, that's the concept piece I mentioned in the trailer thread! Why they decided to change it is beyond me, the crow black hair gives her so much deeper and darker personality than the granny-white plate-like haircut...

I don't know I liked the slicked hair back, it was differant I seemed to take her a little more serious. Can someone make her smile...she looks like that elementary teacher who always was mad about something....

Isn't that sort of the personality we've been kinda seeing come out of everything?  She'd probably not smile unless it was a triumphant "I got you now" sort of deal.  She's probably a no-nonsense Chantry-is-all sort if she's an inqusitor of sorts.

Least she isn't dressed like a certain other short white haired warrior lady, otherwise I imagine some of you going even more ballistic. Just in case your not sure who am talking about, she is in 'Soul Calibur'



I don't mind the change, if the majority of the women in the game had long dark hair it would be boring and unrealistic.

Flemeth - Long white hair

Aveline - (forgot what hairstyle she has)

Cassandra - Short white hair

Don't worry. Cassandra has long black hair at the beginning of the game.



She just pulled her hair out after a while talking to Varric. And turned it white out of stress....

She looks better in her concept art. More severe but then again, maybe that's not the angle they're going for with her.

In any case, I'm still hoping for a change back.

The white hair in that picture makes her cheeks look like they have sideburns on them. She kind of looks like a teenaged guy I knew back in junior high...with white hair, eye shadow and armor on. Kind of freaky.
