I prefer the hairstyle and color from the concept art where she looks much better. With the new hairstyle she looks older but she has a young face it's a bit weird.

You know, I'm a big fan of both short hair and white hair, but I just don't think it looks right on Cass. I loved the way her hair looked before (in that middle image in skuld's post). Other than that I LOVE the way she looks, and sounds.



And I'm surprised she wants to fix the world given how severe she looks. I thought for sure she wanted Hawke so she could either exploit or destroy him/her.

She works for the Chantry. Contrary to 99% of the posters here, the Chantry is actually good.

Hmm... comparing the white to the black hair in the pictures above... the former looks far more fierce and intimidating than the latter. Maybe it's the contrasts but she looks far more threatening... then again could be the expression as well.

What makes you think these two goals are mutually exclusive?

I think it's good for her to have a distinctive feature. Though possibly it would look better if it was whiter - an unnaturally bright white even - because currently it looks old. Or if she's supposed to be old, then her face needs to look older.

Hum. That's a good point. I suppose we don't know what "saving the world" entails, from her perspective. It's just that her character design uses so many things that traditionally read as "villain". Interesting!

Agreed - I think that's the main problem with her new look.
