To address the thing about "every love interest":

Our romanceable characters cover a pretty wide array of moralities, outlooks and, yes, sexual attitudes. This will continue. Holding up Isabela (or what some people seem to assume she will be like) as an example of all female love interests proves about as much as holding up Zevran and saying that all male love interests are flamboyantly sexual. They're not, but we're not worried about having some who are so long as our romances are optional.

As far as the double standard regarding female characters specifically, I find it a bit curious. Is there something wrong with a female character who's had sex and enjoyed it and doesn't feel ashamed about it? Must she be somehow "broken"? Or be automatically rendered one of several derogatory terms for women? I don't think so. She may not be what someone finds romantically attractive, but as I said before so long as romances are optional it's up to you to find a character that appeals-- or not. We will never be able to cover all the bases on this point, so instead we opt to make interesting characters that we believe in.

If this is about Isabela in general, there are already threads to discuss her. Beyond that, this thread has become a little too casually offensive to leave open. It's not okay to throw around offensive terms even if you're talking about a fictional character-- she won't be insulted, sure, but her gender is real enough and I'd consider it inflammatory talk that's not very welcome on this forum. If you wish to discuss this again, please choose your words a bit more carefully lest you be made unwelcome here.

Thanks. Closing this down.
