I'd like them to be internally consistent, interesting characters.  Their sexuality is part of their character, it doesn't define it.

True but for the most part the people the OP are complaining about go hand in hand with "abused child" backstory. They're never like that because they want to be. It's always something wrong with them. I'm pretty sure Isabela won't be an exception.

He/she only has a lot of sex because he/she is hurting inside!!!! It gets tiresome. There are people who like sleeping around and had good childhoods. <_<

A noble woman would be preferable to me (Teventer Nobility?). Someone like Silk Fox but a warrior or mage instead of a rogue I'm tired of rogues

However, favorite romance subplot is probably between Bastila and Leliana.

Is Isabela a skank? Yes, but it is in the classical sense and we all know pirate wench > modern wench. But does any of this matter to Hawke? Not really?

Yeah. I remembered right after I posted that. I just didn't know you could sleep with her. The thought never even crossed my mind. I was too busy setting her up with loverboy. Besides... she looked sixteen to me. Gross.

My problem with her is that she was written like a porn star, most notably that 'But I'm not a sailor' dialogue, I felt sorry for VA for having to say that line. She was initially intended to be a throw-away character, so so long as she isn't totally cheap I won't mind her terribly.



As for LI, I suppose it'd depend on what sort of character she turns out to be and what sort of character I end up making. I find the whole 'strong independent woman' vibe going in here to be bull. Far as my preferences go, I tend to associate sleeping around as a very masculine (and douchebaggish) behavior, and my taste skews heavily toward feminine so it turns me away.

I'm not perfect, I have made mistakes. Not very cool ones, as I have a bad temper sometimes, I'll admit that.
So hopefully we can have a better conversation in the future. Though you can't really blame me or anyone after what you started.
Anyway, hopefully this thread will find its way (and changing the name would be a good start), or will get locked, which wouldn't be a bad thing either.
