This problems has become a bit of an annoyance for me.
I understand that in order to download the Toolset, I need to have a registered copy of DAO attatched to my acct.
But when I go to register the game, it tells me the code is invalid.
I believe this is because I purchased the Ultimate edition and an option doesnt exist to register the Ultimate edition specifically.
Any help in getting the toolset would be greatly appreciated.

Try to google "download dragon age toolset", you'll get some casual software providers to downloaded it from without registration (softpedia for example).

I was able to register my Ultimate Edition by going to Profile -> Full Profile -> Games -> Register Games, and then scrolling down and clicking on Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition...you have to choose Ultimate Edition...it won't let you use your Ultimate key for regular DAO. Problem is...I still can't download the toolset because it says I haven't registered DAO...

EDIT: I was able to find it rather easily online, but if you have trouble, PM me and I'd be happy to send you a link...I'd post it here but I feel like I might get in trouble for that...

You guys should post this in the support forum so that the mods can fix the authentication issue on the toolset download page.

Count me among those who can't download the toolset.

Which makes me sad as that's what I bought the game for.

I can't download the toolset either after registering my DA UE.

The toolset is also available on external sites like softpedia for download. Just do a google search - the toolset appears to be a low priority now for them to fix even the download link.
