I have wondered if by 'bonus playable character and mission'  that bioware is refering to a new character and missions, regarding that character like the DA:O 'The Stone Prisoner'

or

Like the DA:O - DDE they mean two DLC like 'The Stone Prisoner' and 'Wardens Keep' .

I would be grateful if anyone from bioware can answer this question please! :D

I imagine it's more like a Zaeed and Kasumi thing.

I hope that is not the case, since I found that very annoying in ME2, since I can't have a proper chat with them and don't have a romance option with the character.  :?

We really don't have any clues yet aside from the little outline drawing on the promotional page.

Which according to David Gaider and Mary Kirby, doesn't look like the character.

Oh no, they changed their minds about that. Though I don't know what to believe any more.

Really? That's surprising. Maybe they are trying to confuse us Posted Image

A little off topic...but, Zaeed seems like a poor choice for a romance option. xP

I wasn't talking about Zaeed specifically

I was talking about having the option to romance dlc characters and having a decent discussion with the character.
Though who knows maybe some of the female fans might like a romance option with Zaeed!

It has been confirmed by Chris that it is a companion

Sorry, I must of phrased the question incorrectly I already know that the BPC is a companion, what I want to know is regarding what they said on the DA2 site regarding SE "bonus playable character and missions" :?

This is why I used the "The Stone Prisoner" DLC as a comparison, since it is both a recruitment mission and loyalty mission that comes with the option of getting 'Shale'

and

The reason I added DA:O - DDE was to show an example of when bioware offered a package that allowed a BPC DLC and another DLC with it.

Sorry it seems I have mixed the DA: CE with the DA: Digital Deluxe Edition, since it is the one with the two DLC<_<

Well anyway B) the question remains the same as I mentioned at the start of this discussion. :P

Pretty sure most people would love to romance Kasumi.  Darn you BioWare!

I know what you mean, maybe the BPC for DA2 will have a large group of fans, that will want a romance option.

Hopefully this character be different to the BPC in ME2 ...

On the other hand start praying !!! :innocent:

I think the word 'quest' would sound better than 'mission' in the description. Isn't this still a fantasy rpg? Mission makes me think of those 15min corridor turkey shoots in ME2.

I hope it's like Stone Prisoner, not something like Awakening's characters.

I agree but on the site for DA2 the SE features has this description 'bonus playable character and missions' though personally I would prefer saying 'quest'
