Considering Shale, I would think the mystery character is probably more like her, rather than being like Zaeed or Kasumi. Can't really tell atm though.

If bioware does bring in that darkspawn I doubt he will be called the messenger, why not have a guess of what name they will give him.

That seems most likely since the dlc character all seems to have somthing, that makes them stand out.

Zaeed = mercenary "out for revenge"

Kasumi = Renowned thief "requires assitance in a robbery"

Shale = Golem that has been sleeping for years "Was once a dwarf who has forgotten its name"

All them has a kind of uniquness, I wonder what the BPC will be like for DA2 SE

I would LOVE it to be Anders but the dates (from the Awakening ending) dont really match up. I wonder if it's Casavir, Isabela's first mate....I just like the name Casavir and if they re-vamp him like they did her it might not be so bad.

I dunno how it could be Anders, given the multitude of directions Anders can take based on your decisions from Awakening. . .he doesn't leave the Wardens in several choice conclusions.

With Sigrun it just says everyone got up one morning, her bed was made and her trunk cleared and everyone assumed that she went to her calling or to finish what she started in the deep roads with the Legion of the Dead.  It's assumed that she is dead but not confirmed.

Why doesn't the timeline for Anders work?  DA2 spans 10 years of Hawke's life, going on when the warden is at Vigil's keep.  The warden also plays through GOA and WH alone.  So it could be Anders left while the warden was on other missions.  So it could be possible that it is Anders. 

It could also be Velanna too if she doesn't die on the siege for Vigil. 

Another real possibility could be Nathaniel Howe, he will be coming from the Free Marches to Amaranthine and the Vigil.  It could also be Alistair with him being a Templar since Steven Valentine has done some voice work for DA2 per his twitter page.

Also, how did Shale and Wynne get seperated?  That is a mystery right there. 

I vow to fall out of my chair if it's our warden.

Why would bioware want pieces of your self

Well anyway from what people are saying in forms it doesn't seem likely that it is Anders since alot of the wardens choices effects where he is
