I was downloading the Flash Game and saw just how cheesy the graphics were for the flash game and I hope that I am wrong and overreacting, but my mind is screaming to ask if the graphics  for the flash game and the real thing that gets released on Nov 3rd are gonna be the same or wayyy  better?

If you want to see how the actual game looks, take a look at some of the gameplay videos floating around the 'net.

As others have already given the snark, I'll just provide a link to the Dragon Age: Origins gallery and let you decide if the graphics are better.

This is true.

Don't click on Maria's link. I know for a fact she is way more given to snark than I am.

Yes, exactly the same. They wanted to show their enhanced graphics they use in DA:O.

This thread made me smile.
:D

Mark my words:  this is the kinda quality stuff we are going to miss after release day, and we will all look back to this time as the innocent age of the social site.

Don't be ridiculous. Clearly, you've downloaded the character creator. Yes, the flash engine rendered the character that you have in your avatar.

why did they even make that horrible flash game? Might have been better to just use the baldur's gate 2 engine for it.

The fact that you are old enough to remember those days compromises this thread.

The flash game was built by EA2D to spearhead their entrance into browser-based games built around popular franchise. It’s just meant to be a fun game to play in the DA universe before we get the real thing. In no way does it represent the graphical level of Dragon Age: Origins.

It's true. I have a thing for elven mages tossing around lightning bolts.
