 So, uh, I'm having an eencie problem with this playthough's version of the Jack/Miranda fight/loyalty thing.   I've played though the game a few times, and have NEVER lost either's loyalty.  I never have had to pick sides!  But this time (and I don't feel like I am playing *that* differently) the fight ensues and when I break them up, I get no Paragon choice!

I am playing a game that imported from ME1, and then imported again after playing through ME2 already (so I get all my gear and bonuses, etc.)  But I've never had such a hard time getting the Paragon choice.  I thought maybe I didn't have enough points, so I did a bunch of other people's missions (Oddly, I usually play both Miranda and Jack's loyalty  missions pretty early, and still, never a prob.) to rack up some more points.

Now I am almost full Paragon (dang it, I had to play Garrus' mission totally goody-goody. ) and I STILL can't get the Paragon option.  Is there ANYTHING that might make it impossible for you to get both loyal?  Is there any glitch or something I did wrong that would make the game not allow me to appease them both?

I have to have them both loyal!  I use Miranda as my Fire Team Leader and Jack is always one of my team members! (The other is always Tali) Has this happened to anyone else?

OMG thank you.  It's like everything I did set me up perfectly to fail!!  ARGH!

I've played this game like 20 times and sometimes it seems like I have full paragon half way through then other times I completed everything and I only have 3 qrt. It seems like you have to have total full paragon/renegade to break it up. I usually save Jacks loyalty mission for 3rd to last of loyalties.

 I've read that it isn't counted on how much paragon you have, it's based on the amount of paragon points you've earned out of all the paragon points you could of earned till then..

Say there's 1000 paragon points to be earned, and you only get 400, the paragon option is blocked

I got so I would do Jack's loyalty mission very soon after Miranda's. You need to tie them together no matter when you do them. If you do one, then you need to do the other ASAP. Regardless of my point spread then I've found I can resolve it with either or both the paragon or renegade response.



I'm just finishing a fresh playthrough of ME2 and this time it was "close". I only had the paragon response available. I did Miranda's mission about midway through the game, did another mission, then did Jack's loyalty mission.



Tie them together in sequence and do them earlier rather than later.
