I recently Brought my xbox 360 to work with me so I could hook it up to the internet and download LOTSB and a few other things but every time I disconnect it from live and I load up my game it says that the DLC I've got is corrupted and to delete it and re download it.  Does anyone have any experience with this or know of a way to fix it?  Or am I just out 45 bucks for DLC that I can't use?  Please help me.

If you have a new xbox then you have to transfer your licenses to the new xbox. I had the same problem and that fixed the problem for me.

Ah, another thread with this old problem eh? And don't go telling me that guide is for Dragon Age, I know that already. The issue obviously has to do with DRM, the digital rights to your DLC. You'll have to read through that and adapt it to your Mass Effect game. The principle is the same regardless of what game you play.

Also, do what RubyRed said. Make sure that you transfer your licenses through the Xbox live website if you've switched Hard Disk Drives or bought a new Xbox system. That's another part of the DRM puzzle.

At the risk of sounding incredibly stupid can the DLC I get with one of the profiles on my 360 be used by another profile on my 360?

Actually, that's not a dumb question. It's a little confusing. Bear with me.

The answer is generally YES. If you have Profile A and Profile B on the same Xbox, anything purchased by Profile A can be used by B and vice versa. Though that may not always be the case. It depends really on how restrictive the game or DLC maker is. But like I said, generally yes.

HOWEVER if you buy something under Profile A and them change Xboxs or hard drives without going to the Xbox live website and migrated the licenses, then Profile B will not be able to access it. Only Profile A will. This is because when Profile A is connected to Xbox live, the system can do a check for those licenses it needs. But since Profile B is a different account, it doesn't have access (even online) to those licenses. They need to be migrated to the actual Xbox console itself (like RubyRed and I mentioned) in order for both profiles to have access to them.

Annoying huh.

I've never had to do it myself but here's a link to the Xbox live website with the step-by-step instructions.

You do it all from there.
