I prefer playing games on a console, but the ME1 experience is horrific in comparison to the PC version, and for no real reason.  The frame rate should not be as terrible as it is, and Vsync should be on.

I find the framerate to be a little on the iffy side even on the PC. I'm afraid the engine isn't quite as heavily tweaked as is ME2, and ME1 is far too old for them to touch now I'm sorry to say. Back even when it was 'new' the patches were fairly far and few between.

they never made a patch for ME1 on consoles ever.

A patch would be great, because last night I reached the 35 hour mark of my game, completed all the medallion/surveying/prothean relic/etc... missions then almost completed feros only to get stuck in the prothean skyway elevator. the funny thing is, i saved outside the elevator and it loaded inside the elevator, wich would be fine but now the elevator doors are permanently shut and the load screen is never ending. I read that a patch to fix this was released for PC.... is there a reason this patch was not released for Xbox 360?

Didn't they release a new ME1 for xbox 360 that had all the patches and dlc with it?

That would be good, is it the platinum edition? if so, I'll have to pick it up, but I'd have to know for sure it included a patch to fix my game AND allow me to resume my save with that version of the game. A developer response would be ideal.

I have the platinum hits edition and I've had to dump several playthroughs because of that very same glitch. I don't think it's patched

Thank you cgrimm54. Looks like ill have to just start my most recent save which was only about 20 hours prior... (I told my self i wouldnt cry...)
