I'd appreciate it if Bioware actually scaled back the bonus items. The list of DA2 bonus junk was mind-boggling.

In all honesty, I don't care what special stuff comes with the game as long as I get Liara back.

Yes...and the real Liara...not some power-crazed evil caricature of her.

My only comment on that, is that the DLC gear for Mass Effect 2 was pretty important as there weren't that many equipment options to begin with, where as the DLC "junk" for DA2 was just that in a highly loot based game, junk.

But in the key 16-24 year old male demographic, power-crazed and evil scores 16% higher than studious and cood-natured. This is a business, J. They're not making art here. They're making bank.

I feel sick.

Starting out with all the bonus crap with ME2, I had
  • Collector Armor
  • Terminus Armor
  • Inferno Armor
And then
  • Incisor Sniper Rifle
  • Collector Rifle
  • Blackstorm Heavy Weapon
And then
  • Umbra VIsor
  • Recon Hood
  • Sentry Interface
The starting 'bonus' DLC gear extended the full game armory by a full 20%.

Im thinking a little bigger than an ME3 collectors edition, while theres no debate ill buy it, i cant help but get excited at the thought of a ME Trilogy Edition. Im thinking this game comes with ME1, 2 and 3 naturally - ALL additional dlc/promo items for all 3 games, ME 1 revisited to bring it visually and mechanically in line with ME3 - same goes for ME2 if it gets surpassed pretty hard by ME3. It has to have a complete hardcover codex thats as detailed as the codex in all 3 games - and thats it. The codex and all 3 games at a consistent quality would have me handing over money for these games again no sweat. I really hope it happens.
For ME3 collectors edition though i would be happy with something similar to the ME2 version - i liked the packaging alot, art books are very wicked - the comic was cool too - but was a bit annoyed it was a hook (1 of 4) as something complete unto itself would be nicer. Free game content is a must - as much as i like all the bells and whistles, i buy this ultimately to play a game, so the more of that, the better.
Im not sure if they did this in ME2 but i do prefer when the content you get 'free' or whatever (or pay for later on), is not on the disc. Thats really bad in any instance.

How about a "Re-Paint the Normandy" minigame in which we're able to cover up all those ugly Cerberus logos?

I'd pay an extra five bucks to replace them with this....

Somewhere there is a herd of sheep laughing. I have no idea why.

The Collector's Edition should come with the first two games since BioWare was generous enough to give out ME2 with DA2 already for free and ME1 being a cheap downloadable title now. It'll probably come with some of those action figures I've been seeing on the internet for some time now...

Sorry if it's already been covered, but i want...

REAPER ARMOR!

which is pretty likely, since they had the Collector Armor (which was pretty cool) for the ME2 collectors edition...

Edit: as per Liara, either her ME1 or ME2 persona would be fine. Personally, i'd like to see it somewhere in between. Having to  interupt someone three times in a row just to have a short conversation was...frustrating. :?

Bought the CE for ME2, so for ME3, it's a given. Can't wait.

I want a reaper, a remote controlled reaper, something like the XD-RC from Black ops. I want it to say quotes from the game. "Assuming Control" "This form is irrelevant" ETC.

Please don't make Junk for the Collectors Editions, I've seen people pay top price and all that was included was a USB stick and a Key chain.

Maybe you guys can make Motorcycle type N7 Helmets? then it would really be a Collectors Edition, and can easily justify any price that its sold at.

"reaper" armour (and/or SPECTRE armour) would be cool, as would the usual tin case and art book (a bit better an art book wouldn't go amiss this time - like ME1's), that way all the sets would match :)

for a super-edition i'd love a shepard or geth's head statue/diarama.

One thing I would like Bioware not to do: Do not make multiple Collectors Editions with different contents and available only in specific countries. This was the exact reason why I have not bought one for AC2 or ACB ... A Standard Edition and a Reaper Edition will suffice.

I will pre order the second it s announced :)

An art book, my kingdom for an art book.
What I don't want: 5 billion 'new weapons' exclusive to the CE... they just don't excite me as I know I'll find the ONE that I like and then never use anything else.

Well my ultimate ME3 CE would have:

-A Reaper shaped box
-ME themed controller (consoles) ME themed mouse (PC)
-In Game DLC
-Bonus special features disc, making of, final thoughts on the trilogy etc.
-The Mass Effect Trilogy Complete Soundtrack (3-6 Discs)
-Art Books
-Codex like in the ME CE but better
-A miniature sized replica Shepard (of your own Shepard if Bioware somehow managed this.)
-An Asari pin up poster
-A really big Galaxy Map poster
-Normandy ship model
-Joker plush cushion toy
-A limited Edition Serrice Ice Brandy (for over 18s) or a Limited Edition Serrice Ice Energy drink or coke (for minors)
-A full sized replica Shepard N7 breather Helmet
-A small Reaper statue.
-Life sized metal replica of Shepards dogtags
-A special limited edition aftermath comic set after ME3
-A poster of Shepard and Hackett
-A ME3 Paragon/Renegade tshirt or N7 hoody

There, that's all I want. A pretty reasonable list if I do say so myself.

1.Replica of the Normandy, Harbinger, or Commander Shepherd's helmet would be epic!

2. Bonus disk behind the scenes (development process of ME3). I want to see everyone who ever worked on it to be in the dvd, EVERYONE! I want to see all the sleepless nights & hard work that everyone endured.

3. Exclusive in-game items such as "reaper armor" of sorts.

4. Art book showing all the concept artist's creative abilities, blood & sweat, & the vision for ME3. Congratulation to Matt Rhodes & any other concept artists working on ME3.

5. DLC codes for bonus characters or missions if any presented before ME3 releases.

6. A poster or some stickers would be cool, maybe consisting of the Alliance or Cerberus.

7. Dog tags of the sacrificial decision (during ME) to either Ashley Williams or Kaidan Alenko. Present both dog tags in casing.

Thanks & happy gaming!

I'd like ME3 to support controllers on the PC as well.

Reaper armor, similar to the Collector Chitin Armor from ME2, would be cool.  Of course, I want to see the Collector armor return for ME3 along with the Widow Anti-Material Sniper Rifle (my favorite weapon).
