All I know is I work at GameStop and check everyday on the pre order list. And alot of games are
Going the three edition route. Regular at 59.99
One at 99.99
And uber one at 149.99

Will pay 150 but everything in the 99 better be in the 150. The 150 edition of Mortal Kombat doesn't have the same as the 99

Interesting to hear this.  It sounds like this is going to be the trend for all triple-A titles.

I agree on the inclusion of the Widow.  That sniper rifle is my favorite weapon from the game.

I don't want anything with male Shep on it (since i'm solely a female Shep player). I really like the idea of Shep's dogtags / model ships / codex book etc....

I would suggest something related to everyones favourite characters from the games too like a figure or poster (Liara, Garrus, Tali etc...) but those would probably have to be randomized and i'd cry if I didn't get the Liara one

Soundtrack should be included though. Soundtrack for all 3 games (a physical copy rather than digital, in a nice case) would be amazing. If you can't add it into the uber edition, why not add it to the store? (I'm one of those people who likes having physical copies rather than digital. My anime collection shows that well enough!)

If the only CE is going to be $150 F that the highest I would be willing to go is $80 and even then that would be annoying.

If its $150, then it will probably be £130 even thought the exchange rate doesn't convert. If this happens I sadly won't be picking the CE up.

I'm sticking with my original suggestion from way back yonder in the early pages of this thread: The dog tags Liara gives you. Battered and in a frame.

I think a lot of players would appreciate FemShep cover art too. If we're going to pay out $149.99 for a CE, don't make us stare at Sheploo.

I'll reiterate once more that besides any die-cast replicas of the Normandy or Shepard's dog tag's (which is a really good idea) I want the collector's edition to include a model of the Widow sniper rifle. I just can't get enough of it in the game.

I'm guessing BioWare will announce the collector's or uber edition after E3.  That will give all of us some time to save our Benjamins for it.

I'd like a soundtrack, making of video, and I rather liked the artwork booklet that came in the ME2 CE.

But overall, the more goodies the better.

We didn't get Sheploo on the box art  for the Collectors' Edition of ME2.  Maybe BioWare will take the same route for the uber edition of ME3.

I would pay 150 plus for the game plus say a N7 Helmet I mean look how well Halo 3 did or Killzone

My point wasn't really about removing him, it was about giving the FemShep fans something they've been asking for for years. It's something very minor, it's only adding one image after all, but it will mean a lot. I don't think anyone's going to mind if it's merely the default FemShep that appears on the boxart. As long as she gets some kind of acknowledgement. It's their final chance, after all.

It's possible BioWare could include a lenticular card that shows FemShep when viewed from a side angle.  Then again they may produce a limited run of box art with her on front.  That'd be cool for those who want to see FemShep instead of Sheploo.

I know one person mentioned exclusives "per store" - that's something that I absolutely abhor... if only because no matter where you go, you're going to miss out on something unless you have the cash to pony up for buying the game in each individual store.

For the "ultimate" collector edition, it would be really cool to have some DLC exclusive to the ultimate edition and nowhere else, a real hardcover art book, definitely a die cast Widow sniper rifle and/or the dog tags, and quite honestly, were it to come with a redemption code for a single character t-shirt and poster combo pack from the bioware store ( Tali, Wrex, Shep, FemShep, etc) , I'd jump on the preorder right now without hesitation.

I hope so too. I've been putting off on preordering ME3 simply because I don't want to go through the effort of getting a refund on my basic game preorder just to reapply it to the collector edition. I keep checking, but haven't found a collector set mentioned anywhere yet. *shrug*

No doubt about it - if a vote was taken for a diecast piece to be included, I think the Widow would take the vote even over the dogtags.

ok here's my wishlist for a super ME3 CE (collectors edition)
a SteelBook with unique art (like the one on the ME2 CE with Male Shep- dat was bad ass!)
-cool CE DLC like character, outfits weapons, etc
- a making of the video ( with actor interviews n stuff)
-a Codex that is like artbook that's has more then 16 pages please
- either a T-shirt, a ME themed USB flash Drive or a collectible like a Normandy on stand or Tali Figurine or mix it all together for a price tag of 150$ and i'd definetely tap dat game

I wouldn't be so sure. Not everyone uses the Widow, but the dog tags are personal to every Shepard.
