I think it should have highly detailed models of the SR1 and the SR2, along with a making of dvd a soundtrack cd and [as Evil Johnny 666 said] a real artbook.

also for a trillogy collectors edition, all of that AND the stuff that came with the ME1 and ME2 collectors editions. is that asking to much? probably, but we can only hope right!

That's good idea and no, it isn't asking too much.  I'd like diecast models of the SR1 and SR2 though.

I'd also like a replica of the Widow antimaterial sniper rifle. That's some sweet-**** ordnance!!

More ingame useable *stuff* less physical *junk*

I'll be honest..the physical things amuse me for like 30 seconds then they get put away for years.

Artbooks and soundtracks are best left to the bioware store IMHO.Metalic game boxes dont amuse me either. But then...I am a game hoarder with games from the last 15-20 years sitting on my wall next to me.(or,most recently in my steam/ea accounts.)

I'd like another steel case for the "collector's" edition of ME3. Some DLC upon release wouldn't hurt eitther.

I think BioWare should throw in everything from the first two games in addition to the new toys.

I'd love to see them partner with Sideshow toys to produce a light-up Normandy ship like the Tron Evolution game is getting. I would not pay $120 for the Tron special edition but I'd pay it for ME3.

The soundtrack would be nice. Also a digital art-book so I can use some of that sweet concept art as a background :P

As long as BioWare includes a DRM-less version of the first game I'll be happy. Of course, a replica of the Widow Anti-Material sniper rifle-or the Revenant submachine gun-would me VERY happy.

-Nice art book - sold separately if they have to - 100+pages

-N7 Medal

-diecast normandy/reaper/weapon

-mini lithographs

-soundtrack with all tracks from the game not just a selection of tracks

Key thing is - unique items to mass effect universe like stuff from bioshocks marketing

I agree 100% modern CE stuff are crap. But a model of the ship will be nice, as long as it's not model of the character, because so far they look horrible.

Definitely agree.  I'd also prefer a model of the SR2 Normandy instead of a character.  It should be a detailed, die-cast replica that's not too big but it isn't pint-sized either.  I'd also like a replica of the Widow Anti-Material sniper rifle since it is too cool (I loved using it to dust enemies).

I wouldn't mind anything with a character on provided it's not a Male Shep. Unless both Shep defaults are equally represented. Like, a poster might be cool. It could show both Shep's side by side? Same if we get an art book. It would be nice to see both Shep's.

A model Normandy might be nice too. Would look really good on my shelf. Even if we can't get one with the ME3 special edition, then it's a good idea for the BioWare store.

Whatever they come with I'm definitely getting.

-The Making of DVD for the ME2 CE was interesting

-Exclusive armor/weapons was a nice addition as well

Like many of you, I'd love to have a Normandy Model, maybe even the size of the Batman:AA CE case that came out a few years back.

Since Mass Effect 3 has been officially announced I've decided to throw out a few possible suggestions for a special edition:

-Mass Effect 3 Collector's Edition

-Mass Effect 3 Platinum Edition

-Mass Effect Ultimate Edition

-Mass Effect 3 Signature Edition

That's all I can think of for now.

I said this before and I will say it again. It is the REAPER edition, me2 had the COLLECTOR edition because of the collectors duhhh.

I meant that in a respectful way.

I think it's just deliberate coincidence that caused them to title it Collector's Edition.

Reaper Edition does have a nice ring to it though. :)

No worries man.  Reaper Edition would make sense but it just doesn't have that 'ring' to it like platinum, gold, or whatever.

Can't recall where, but apparently Bioware have toyed with the idea of making an "Ultimate edition". In which case, I'd welcome:
  • Full game with a couple bits of bonus content (guns, armour)
  • Reaper statue
  • Concept art book
  • OST?
That's pretty much all I can think of right now.

I definitely like the idea of a die-cast SR-2 Normandy, preferably in a "swishable" size, also, I heard somewhere that BioWare originally wanted to add a replica pistol for the ME2 collector's edition, but it was vetoed for whatever reason, so I'd like to see that too.

I'd like to see a replica of the SR2 Normandy as well as something else...like the Widow Anti-Material sniper rifle (sorry I had to say it one more time).
