I want a functioning Garrus visor. Maybe it can serve as an mp3 player, or something of the sort, with the ME1, ME2, and ME3 playlist already pre-loaded. (I can dream, can't I?)  And as an added bonus, include custom tracks of what Garrus has on his visor in the game.

That mp3 player idea is the best thing I've heard in ages. Wow. I'd totally use my first mp3 player then =D

My songs have got that reach, and my playlist's full of flexibility, baby!

Most important of all I'd like the CE to not be too limited.
I don't want to feel better than others and going all "HAHA, I have stuff you don't have". I think everyone willing to pay the money, should be able to get these things. Making stuff too limited is somewhat annoying and often makes little sense because it keeps the people selling the product from making more money.
(It's like how most of the stuff people REALLY want from the Bioware store, and not just lithos, but even something like the Joker hat, is limited....I don't understand why they would refuse to sell the very product people want, it's a backwards way reacting to demand...and I still want to buy a Joker hat)

I think the CE should be available for every one who wants it, but really don't want to see it on in the clearance bin at the local game store. i think it should be open to every one who preorders it, but in very limited quantities other than that. either that, or making an actually limited uber edition for super hard core fans.

I just hope it includes something functional. I like the USB drive idea, but I think an N7-branded tshirt could work too. If a model of the Normandy is included, it could function as a desk lamp if it includes lights with adjustable brightness. The design of the tin case itself as a piece of Reaper tech would be a nice touch I think.

Of course, it should be a preorder thing and only a bit beyond that....but I think it should be at the very least available for everyone who wishes to preorder it. So no "Limited to 1000 worldwide!" stuff.

I completely agree. i don't want to hog all 1000 copies for just myself ;)
but really, it should be avalible for all who want it, and not for people who say "its on sale, maybe i'll pick it up."

I keep on coming back to this thread and love it every time I do. So for the third? time, I'm going to change mine.
1) I want the game
2)I want Shepard dogtags. Nothing special, just birthdate, date of enlistment, serial number that sort of thing. That way it keeps everyone's the same, but also different.
3) Either the N7 helmet to store everything in, or Joker's hat. I love it, but you cant get it.
4) Exclusive Dlc. Not something to be released in 2 or 3 months time.
5) STEEL CASE!
6) Decent size art book/codex. I want to put this on my shelf and know its there, not to be hard to find when I;m staring right at it.
7) Armor/gun thats exclusive, not to be released in month's time.
8) Wall scroll of every teammate in every game. Kinda like the Reach statue, meaning that its just them and no Shepard.
9) Any other Bioware love

Same here(15 part) and thats why I'm getting it as an X-mas present. I already told them this is all I want. No books, car items or money. This and only this.

Including the Normandy or a N7 shirt or Joker hat would be somewhat useless for those who already have them? I really want a geth lamp though for when I move house, it'd be amazing and could make geth noises when you turn it on and off! Like the dog tag idea too and a DVD/codex.

Another vote for a geth head lamp?  You folks really love that ideaImage IPB

Glad you're enjoying the thread.  I never expected this many posts when I started it.  It's good to see that so many of us want a quality collector/uber/reaper/Garrus edition of ME3.  Once again I hope the dev team is looking at our suggestionsImage IPB

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet (so bear with me if it has) but I'd like to see the complete history of the Reapers included in a hardcover compendium for ME3. I say this only because it's clear they've been around for a very long time and I want to know how they were created.

I'd prefer a history of the entire milky way galaxy, not just the reapers. maybe in the same book as the huge-*** codex. also, I would like to know if the big bang theory is real in the ME universe, or if there is some cosmic power (super reapers?) controlling every thing...... never mind. still..... SUPER REAPERS!

For a "Limited" Collector's Edition Bundle with all 3 Collector Editions Plus a Model of the SR1(i do mean model... something like 85th Scale, actual put together model.) instead of a Display "Figure" so i have a "true" attachment to the item. If not a model then a Diecast Version of the Sr1 and 2 plus the Widow with actual artbook artbook, Making of dvd plus some ingame items... i would be willing to pay $100.00 - $175.00 for it.
Just Saying.
For the Collector's Edition of Mass Effect 3 i would say in-game items plus a Die-Cast Version of The SR1 or a Reaper, Plus artbook and Making of dvd. Seems like the Norm Now-a-days anyways.

Well Theres my 2 Cents

Honestly, i wouldn't mind seeing lego mass effect stuff, as as it is collector grade, not crappy things that barely represent the awesomeness of the ME universe. also, i wouldn't like to see ten year olds playing mass effect, similar to how they ruined the halo community. also, lego's would be terrible for a collectors item, but might be ok as a separate item. Btw, here are some neat ME lego creations:
http://www.saber-sco...mass_effect.php
he is has amazing creations if you like video games.

PLEASE NO THINGS LITTLE KIDS WOULD LIKE TO SLOBBER ALL OVER! COLLECTOR'S GRADE ONLY!

A very high quality case. Fable 3 had a nice faux leather book case. Maybe not a book, but something just as good wood be really nice.

1. An art book and OST.
2. A N7 USB drive
3. Small in-game add-ons (A few guns, a set of armour, NO regions or squaddies)
4. An Alliance/N7 dog tag (something like what was found on the SR1 crash site mission)
5. A full-scale, working Normandy :P
6. Maybe some cards with all of the major characters on them (ME1,2, and 3 crew, Udina and Anderson, the Council, and default M and F Shepard)
7. A mini-replica of the SR1 and SR2 Normandy (Military blues for SR2, please. Cerberus colors = dull)
8. Default M&F Shepard figurines. At least 6" tall.
9. A collector particle beam replica.
10. Rachni Egg!
11. A mini Prothean statue.
12. Quarian face mask/hood.
13. A making of DVD.
14.A working Geth head lamp would be awesome.
15. A huge map of the Milky Way Galaxy with all of the galaxies in the ME Universe charted.
16. Anything else Bioware can come up with.

I would love to see a Mass Effect Encyclopedia. Even if not in the CE just make it happen.

I'm digging on the idea of dog-tags and an N7 USB stick. But when it comes to collectors editions, what I really like is the box it all comes in. Fancy boxes win any day. Would be sort of funky to offer two covers on the coll box in any event, a cerberus/alliance difference thing.

This is how I would like it

1. Mass Effect 3: Normal Edition ($ 60)
- Cerberus/Alliance Network
- Mass Effect 3

2. Mass Effect 3: Special Edition ($ 80)
- Cerberus/Alliance Network
- Mass Effect 3
- In game exclusive content
- DVD with making of/dev commentary
- Nice small box to put everything in

3. Mass Effect 3: Reaper Edition ($ 150)
- Cerberus/Alliance network
- Mass Effect 3
- Ingame exclusive content (same like SE)
- Only exclusive ingame content for RE only (for example: a unique weapon or armor set)
- Normandy Model/ N7 USB/ Shepard dogtags/ ....
- DVD with making of/dev commentary
- A nice, beautiful and big box to put everything into

I want 3 editions because I don't really need all those toys, but I do want exclusive content...

I agree with this. I can live without the replica of the Normandy if its going to ultimately add up to $150, but I'll wait and see...

A geth head lamp...

Yes. Yes please!

With a book of the history of the species/galaxy. Steel case. If I can't get the headlamp, an N7 helmet or a model of the SR2 or a geth ship. Or Harbinger. The Garrus visor idea is pretty awesome as well
