*The game with all ME2 dlc (I haven't bought any - waiting for a disk) and most ME3 dlc
*Artbook
*Making of ME3
*Habringer/Normandy/Earth being Invaded Models respectively (Made out of lead)
*Case to display it
*Same metal box as ME2
*Poster Ftw (Signed)
*All editions have different cover art
For fun - Mass Effect 3: Miranda Edition
All of the above but two models of Miranda that replace the other editions models. (One with her white suite and one in her underwear

I don't think the dlc will be released on disc. You should at least try Lair of the Shadow Broker; it's one of the best add-ons I've played for any game.
An uber edition of ME3 is probably in the works though I don't know if there will be any in-between editions.

Any ways I have the same idea's as most of you, but in this order.
ME3: Uber edition - Steel Case
a) Game on DVD - with special armor & weapon pack.
c) ME music (of all three games including DLC's up to that point)
d) Art book
e) ME3 Poster - Showing all characters in game.
f) I'm sure Bioware has a maximum box size, so for the real fancy stuff
f1) Coupon to send to Revell (or other company) for either die cast model of SR-1 or SR-2 (8" overall length of model.) This coupon does include S+H to your address.
f2) Coupon to send to AirSoft (or other company) for spring powered weapon (possible 2 or 3 to choose from, but you can only choose one!) This coupon does include S+H to your address.
I'm guessing that the Uber would be 2500 - 3000 copies maximum and cost approx. $200
The rest of the "Reaper" or "Collector" editions would have these items except without the coupons.

What I would like to see with ME3
I want a lot of things lol.. BUT..
- The Game - Bonus Disc - DLC Weapons/armor
- A Battle Damaged N7 Helmet (like the one recovered from the Normandy Crash Site in ME2) Scaled, not full size... 1/2 scale would be nice.
- An N7 Patch
- Serial #'d Litho
- Code for MP3 Soundtrack Download
and what would REALLY Make me happy..
A Mass Effect 3 Themed Console.. Slim 360 or PS3.. I don't care which (would prefer a 360)

However, I'd like the ME3 Collector's Edition to be steelbook like the ME2 one.
- Would like a Normandy die-cast model
- Exclusive items that can't be gotten through Gamestop promotion.
- Making of documentary with cast interviews
- Art book.
Full Scale model of the Canfex Hand Cannon.

I'm not sure why anyone would think that BW or EA would release the game without the data rights program applied, patches and all DLC for a game that isn't released and the DLC from a previous game.

Hmm, the Carnifex Hand Cannon? I like that.

When will it be announced? I asked in Gamestop 2 days ago and they told me only the regular one is up for pre-order.

BioWare is stil deciding what the deluxe edition will be called. My guess is we'll know more after the PS3 release and after Dragon Age 2 ships.

So, personally, I won't like 3 special editions (like someone said, collector's, reapers and earth), because if you are a good fan, it's a pain for your pocket to buy all 3.
Following that idea, I think that the most logical thing to do is to have 3 editions.
Normal - Collector's - Normandy (Or whatever you wanna call it)
Normal
- Just the game.
- The game.
- A functional but beautiful package like the one for ME2 CE, that means, hard "box", the steel case and an extra, like the Cerberus Member Pack in the ME2 CE. (It was good because you can pick up the game quickly without having to pass trough a complicated box or to take all the collector's bonus to reach your DVD, separated, yet functional and nice to the view). And please keep the out-case hard like the ME2 one and don't make it from a floppy material.
- DLC that can be ONLY accessed with the CE. No DLC that are "briefly" CE exclusive, or even accesible paying.
- If you live OUTSIDE the US and there is gonna be Promotional add-ons like the Dr. Pepper's ones, please include it on the CE for the other countries, it is was a pain with ME 2 xD
- A second Game Disc like the one included with the ME CE, with behind the scenes and concepts, etc.
- The EXACTLY SAME Collector's Edition. Take note from, for example, the Halo Reach's Legendary Edition, it had the Legendary Stuff and also the exact same CE. It is a BIG detail for the fans, I mean, if you have the UBER edition, why you lose the features from the CE that is, in theory, inferior?
- A die-cast model of the Normandy SR-2 (Everyone wants this xD ) However, if it is too tiny, it wont be up to the challenge, better be big or then forget that idea.
- Exclusive DLC for the Normandy Edition, game Add-ons or whatever.
- If the box is up to the Normandy Replica size, a hard-type poster, with all the crew members (I actually have done ones myself for my room, but you know, surprise me xD)
- A N7 Patch or Dog Tag.
Some examples, the already mentioned Legendary Edition for Halo Reach with the "monument", the Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Codex Edition, with that awesome Assassin Vault and even a exact replica of Altair's Codex. (In this case is not something like the Main Character or so (like in the case of the Reach one) but something that you recognise and really enjoy to have as it is suposed to be "the real thing".
So, a good "substitute" for the Normandy Replica can be a Statue of your crew like the Reach one, but we don't want to copy other stuff. So, some ideas:
- Damaged N7 Helmet (Like the one in ME2 Crash Site). (Or a "New" one, but damaged has more impact).
- I could say a weapon replica, but there are so many that it wouldn't be "awesome" enough.
- Someone from Bioware said that they are looking for a "Modern Warfare 2 Night Vision Google"-like "bonus" for the Uber edition. Well, if you are up to the Challenge, a relatively functional visor, like the one Garrus uses. (I don't want all the functions, but if it say's me what time is it I will be happy xD )
- A full-size mini Rachni (the little ones). If it has something to do with ME3? Well, the Rachni Queen is a possible big Ally to fight off the Invasion xD
- A die-cast Mass Relee "suspended" in a base that says "Now and Ever - Mass Effect" (Emotional one xD)
(Of all the above, I think that the 2 things that most define "Mass Effect" in a general way (it is, it's the same for everybody, no matter you Shepard or Choices) are the Normandy and the Mass Relee.
Bye!

If it can't be a Normandy Replica for whatever reason, I really think that it should be something representative or, at least, ULTRA EPIC.

So, some ideas:And the list can go on, but my point is that it has to be something that tells you MASS EFFECT and also make you nostalgic each time you look at it and remember your adventure trough the Trilogy.
- Damaged N7 Helmet (Like the one in ME2 Crash Site). (Or a "New" one, but damaged has more impact).
- I could say a weapon replica, but there are so many that it wouldn't be "awesome" enough.

Bye!
Very good suggestions. And I agree we should keep the list to what is practical for a collector's edition.

Personally I would love to get ME1 and ME2 updated to the ME3 engine. That would be absolutely awesome! Since that is unlikely, I'd take lots of additional ingame content exclusive to the Collectors edition. Bonus disk with interviews, full soundtrack and Shepard model would suffice.

I personally would like a code to access all future DLC completely free, including the former DLC from pst games. That would easily make up for the 150 dollar price tag. So any DLC that comes out on the launch date is yours free as well. Some exclusive DLC content for collector edition owners that cannot be gotten anywhere else, such as armor, weapons, side missions, etc.

It would be nice to have a real, working omni-tool, but I guess we should wait for it another 100-200 years...

I posted this in Chris Priestly's "uber" thread and was doubtful they could make a Kindle that looked like a datapad, but hey! They can easily redesign the datapads in ME3 to look like whatever ebook they'd put in the CE

But seriously:
-Tin case fosho. I loved that about me2.
-UPGRADED cerberus card. they get steady dlc, we get steadier and awesomer dlc. itll also give more incentive to get the collectors edition.
-art book was cool
-better overall case. the one for me2 was alright, but it didnt cover the actual game case completely :/
-speaking of cases, i want one without the HA ILL TEAR UP YOUR BOOKLET functionality.
-i think thats it. i loved the me2 collectors edition.

-Mass Effect 3 plus the first two games with all DLC. SecuRom should be removed from Mass Effect and I'd like to see it using the engine that powered Mass Effect 2.
-a diecast model of the Normandy SR2 along with Harbinger and a weapon (preferably the Widow sniper rifle). If this is too much then at least the Normandy.
-an artbook similar to what was included in the Collectors' Edition of ME2.
-a steel case for the game discs.
-access to downloadable content from the start.
I hope BioWare takes all of our suggestions to heart!

A little SR-2 Normandy model would be pretty sick, but presented like the spaceship models you could collect in ME2.
Some cool unique weapons and armor.
Making of DVD, although that kind of stuff should be included in the standard game to begin with.
That's all I got. I'd be happy to shell out some extra cash for something like that.
