Is this a "Nope" not gonna say, or a "Nope" she hasn't done work in a Bioware game before?
Nope, she hasn't done work for a Bioware game before.

Considering that she says she's fleeing Ferelden when you meet her in the Pearl and we know that Hawke is also feeling Fereleden because of the blight at the same time, I'd say it's a safe bet that these are going to be somehow related.HallowedWarden wrote...
We don't know at what point in time she comes into the story. It spans 10 years, so it may be a few years before we see her or perhaps she'll grant us passage to Kirkwall.

To me she epitomizes sickness. And not wrapped in a remotely interesting package either. The only thing keeping me from tearing her to shreds, in a very PC way, is Mr. Gaider's comments about the optionality of the whole thing.

Still it is a bit disquitening (aesthetically included) that she features in two trailers, pestering my hawke like a ship rat.
I see the supporters are a very limited number of very specifically oriented people so that doesn't really bother me. Live and let live. I just hope that she is not the main love interest, assuming one is a primary one.

Isabela is completely optional. You don't even have to talk to her, if you don't want to. So feel free to give her foul miasma a wide berth.

Did you write Isabella? Because if you did, she's my favorite character. Far more interesting than that Lady Hawke gal.

@Eudaemonium -- I'm not so sure that the Dragon Age trailers are ever so set in stone as to who is and is not important. Leliana and Sten are in the Sacred Ashes trailer, and you can skip through Lothering without ever picking them up. I think the trailers instead give you ideas and perceptions that could be the case, but because of the freedom of choices, aren't exactly that.
I guess that answers question whether Hawke family gets to Kirkwall on her ship, and that's a no?Sheryl Chee wrote...

Sheryl did write Isabela. She called dibs on her almost before Gaider had finished telling us she was on the list of companions.
Gaider: So, we've got Bethany, Carver, Varric, Isa--
Sheryl: DIBS! WANT! LET ME WRITE HER!
Gaider: Ooookay... Sheryl is writing Isabela, I guess.
Is that sarcasm?Sheryl Chee wrote...
