this is the first time they did a pre-sale. before then, they simply put them up on the store without a customer limit so they sold out pretty fast. i was just lucky at the time when i got mine. but i missed out when they sold the Illusive Man.

I get It!... Think, this, thousands of thousands of people trying to enter the same page at the same time, I think Bioware is releasing small ammounts of packs. For example, 10.00 the put 25 packs in sotck... they go out of stock... 10 minutes later another 25... an so on... Is this possible... I keep getting the "out of stock" for 20 minutes from 10.10. to 10.30. And just seconds ago my order went trough...

I got a reply from Chris, basically he said it was my problem... and try again later. So... In other words, I (and you) am/are screwed...Terror_K wrote...
Unless BioWare decides to make it up to us somehow or put some aside for those in this thread who reported issues there's not much we can do unless we're willing to wait for the next batch and hope it doesn't screw up.
I can't be bothered any more waiting for Chris or somebody else to respond. I'm exhausted, have a headache and am extremely pissed off at the whole situation. I'm going to bed.
I tried, several times, but it wouldn't take my PayPal account... ... ... ... Why-o-why...?

They are more likely to sort out any oversized orders... updated: seem to be canceled orders. several accidentally placed two orders (refreshing while submitting)
more or less... yes, though this time, more seemed to be unlucky because the overall quantity was more limited...tj987654321 wrote...

This is wrong, the Normandy was limited to 5 copies per customer. All the recent and not so recent lithos were pre-orders, the only difference was the time frame. It's usually one week. They are up for pre-order on Friday and ship next week from Wednesday on. This time, it will last longer.

impossible for me. since it's considered OOS in my cart, the submit button is grayed out.

The pre-order for the Normandy was fairly smoothe in that its supply ran out in under 30 minutes. The complaints then were taken into account and put into this pre-order event, with two pre-order windows for customers over the world. Course, by limiting it to 100, many people were gonna miss out on the first one and presumably the second.

Yeah I got real lucky on that one as I found out about 15 minutes before they went live for purchase (as I hadn't viewed the forum for a short while - now I check daily just to be safe!). Looks damm nice on the wall with my Omega and Minuteman lithos.

Yes, but they can re-issue them as posters (and I hope they will in the future). I suppose the only issue is how long to wait to avoid devaluing the lithos and angering the people who paid premium prices for them.ltgonzo13 wrote...

sure, they're limited but they're also autographed and very inexpensive for $40. the combo makes them sell out like hotcakes. i wouldn't mind if they sold NON-AUTOGRAPHED ones as the regular version.
i don't mind if they limited each litho to ONE per person during a presale. at least give everyone a chance at getting one.

Not that these aren't cool (I personally really like the Thane one) but it puzzles me how people are so willing to drop $40 on each of these yet complain about $10 DLCs.
Most of these lithographs have MASSIVE resale values. Look at the completed listings on ebay. All of them that have sold, sold well over $100. Even up to $375!

I think it depends on what the DLC actually is. This is a bit off topic, but I find myself a little cautious about DLC, especially I'm paying for something I can't really physically hold. Some might call me a materialist for that, but rewind back a decade or so, and I bought DLC in the past. The company went bankrupt, and my rights to the DLC were removed, so I paid for a fleeting moment, if you will. Granted, I read the terms and agreements, yada yada, but I personally still felt as if I was cheated out of something I bought.
These lithos however, are a collector's item, and I'm paying for a physical item, and something I intend to enjoy for a long time. DLC on the other hand has no physical guarantee it'll be around, say, 2 years from now, nor does it need one. This is why, at least I think, people are wary of downloading new content for 10 dollars, especially if it only allows 90 minutes of gameplay. That, in my book, would be a ripoff.
Good luck to everyone on the next presale, hope you guys get it!

yea, i've avoided buying them on ebay. i'd rather wait for the mini lithos but it's taking them forever to release more of those.

man, this makes me want a Normandy mini litho so badly.
