Thanks for the info, I will get Star Craft 2 as soon as Verizon's 4G mobile broadband is available in my area. (I reside in a town that doesn't allow cable by law, and my current mobile broadband would not be able to support online play.)
Also, I know what you mean about the few obsessive SC2 fanboys attacking every comment, which makes all SC2 players look bad. I know there are some ME 2 fans who are just as obsessive, but they don't seem to be as ruthless as Husky's heroes!
Thank you for telling me about Star Craft 2, it seems to be like an excellent game.

(Going back on topic)Do you live in the US? Cause I've never heard of a town that has that kind of law. O.o
I live in a rural town in Massachusetts.
When my family moved in to this area, there were plans to have cable
implemented in the area. However, after moving in, the town's committee
decided that these commodities would commercialize the area, so the plans
for cable were halted. Needless to say, numerous citizens are angry
about the new regulations; it's been so bad that my neighbor decided to
run as selectman of the town just to get internet services! (Not
Joking!) The absolute worst part of this all is that all of the
surrounding towns have cable!
After years of suffering though satellite broadband (It SUCKS), I found out that Verizon offered a new
device for mobile internet. Although expensive: $50 for 5gb with $10 per
GB overage, the speeds themselves are actually good enough to play
regular FPS games. However, I would easily reach my limit if I even dared to try SC 2.
Fortunately,
Verizon announced that their new 4g network will be covering their
existing 3g network. While right now it is the same price ($50 for 5gb)
there are numerous customers complaining about the unfair limits.
Verizon plans on greatly increasing the limits as more customers start
using their network.
As soon as the limits increase and 4g becomes available in my area, I will be playing SC 2!

I finally got my shipment notification today. Huzzah! Since I usually manage to be last in line, hopefully everybody else's has gone now too!alastair.zander wrote...
I got my shipment notification as well.
I also looked on Ebay out of curiosity and saw some of the outrageous prices being thrown about, with someone even asking an insanely optimistic $800 for their "buy it now" price for Saren, and another who wants $700 for Tali - but at least he's offering free shipping. <_< I think what unimpressed me most was looking at the completed listing and seeing some scrote had sold about a dozen copies of the Citadel litho; I'm so glad they've clamped down on that sort of thing since that's a dozen genuine fans he's ripped off.

Bummer. Sad to hear of someone with even worse luck when it comes to shipping. Still, it'll probably be soon and you're likely to at least receive yours before I do!Kleli wrote...
Mine isn't shipped. Still says 'Pending Fulfillment'.

I've learned that Treehouse's tracking is just for show, not actual tracking. My last 3 orders were untrackable the entire travel time.Iwakura-Lain wrote...
When are these lithos to be shipped? Still waiting for my Tali litho; and, although the order was confirmed im email, it's not their in my account settings to track yet. Getting a mite worried.

Surprisingly SC2 doesn't take that much processing power. I could build a $600 pc and have it run SC2 at max settings. Though wireless is definitely not preferable to wired connections :/tj987654321 wrote...

I've found that they're trackable once they're handed over to the local courier after clearing customs, but I guess it depends on who they contract to do the final delivery in any given country. So it's not necessarily for show, but doesn't seem to do anything useful with whoever does the international leg of the shipping process.Puaru wrote...

But that's the thing - he DIDN'T sell a dozen copies of the Citadel litho - he sold a 'random chance' of receiving a Citadel litho as one of a set of large collection of lithos he supposedly had in his possession. There's no way of knowing what mix of prints he had and I'm sure he had a batch of lower priced lithos that he 'randomly' awarded to his buyers.vometia wrote...

I reported his listings as soon as I saw them, since as far as I can tell such lotteries are strictly against eBay policy - of course, they didn't lift a finger to stop them.
There IS feedback from a buyer who claims to be happy to have 'received' a Citadel litho for just over $100, but that person has a feedback rating of *1*, and is probably a shill created by the buyer to hide the fact that he didn't send out the Citadel print to ANYONE.

What is amazing about eBay is some of the lithos like Pragia with a "Buy it Now" for $110 with $12.50 in shipping. What are you thinking when you list that?

They realized people like them so they get an extra 5000 dollars per type of lithograph now.Madcat46 wrote...
it's probably been asked but what exactly changed besides packing these things so they don't get smashed to s*** (sometimes) that makes them $10 more... Is it a new ink? Paper from a Brazilian Rosewood? Or just the fact that they sell out like hotcakes?
Before I spend $120 on 3 lithos when I could have bought 4 of them months ago for the same price I would like to know why that is. Anyone?

I guess. Maybe the same reason the limited release has gradually become less limited, increasing from 2-300 to 500. Then again, if they hadn't increased it, there'd be a couple of nice lithos I probably wouldn't have got hold of, so I guess I probably shouldn't complain too loudly!Puaru wrote...

Don't give them any ideas! They may lower the amount to 300 and charge $100 each!
