Morrigan did tell the Warden that she doubts (s)he truly killed Flemeth and that it was likely to merely be a slight inconvenience to her.
Flemeth's own words when you tell her you're going to kill her suggest she's been "killed" numerous times before: "Come then. It's a dance Flemeth knows all too well."
As for discovering her secret, I'd say there will likely be hints but no big reveal.
That's what I was going to say. Plus we killed her in dragon form, maybe she can't 'die' that way. Morrigan says she bleeds like everyone else, but probably meant it as a human. Maybe you have to keep her from shape shifting first.
That would be a little.. hard? would it not?
Even the Templars who are quite famous at negating magical use couldn't stop her from shifting.
Perhaps an explanation to her immortality would be that she is an old god who escaped imprisonment?
So she acts like an archdemon, whenever death comes upon her she simply travels into another body.
Hmm.. that sort of theory works well for her, Morrigan needs an old god to battle an old god?
Lots of questions and not so many answers.
Anyway that body she was in is definetly dead (that is if your warden killed her, but I mean who wouldn't?).
The start of the Witch Hunt dlc says something like:
I haven't played Witch Hunt, so I have no knowledge of that, my conjecture comes from Vanilla DA
In fantasy there's always a way to stop the impossible from happening, in this case binding Flemeth in one form to kill her for good, whether it's an ancient relic or some dangerous task.

Do you think we'll learn how she returned to the land of the living in DA 2, or will it remain a mystery?
Knowing BioWare, I would say a mystery.
She looks in really great shape for an 500 year old dragon god... thing, whom has popped out more daughters than one can count. I wonder what's her secret...

Killing her is going to be a new staple in the DA franchise. You get to kill her in every game. After killing her in DA-5 for the fifth and final time you get a special "Witch Hunter" Acheivement.
My greatest fear. Recycling the same boss over and over again like Nintendo games. How many times does Link need to defeat Ganondorf before he finally dies?
Yes but does evil really change?Do you think every vilain are so much different? They want something nasty and try everything to obtain it.I don't see much difference between Kefka and Sephiroth. Both are completly mad and want to kill everything. It's just the story to get here that make thing interesting. We know from the start about the Archdemon.Do we really care about it?We just need to stop it.It's does not make it more unique than Gannondorf and
That why i complety agree with the *no main vilain thing* .. It's get old and just repeat itself.Evil thing it's more powerful than 1 being.Kill 1 and 4 will spawn . Look at darkspawn.

Morrigan herself tells you that it won't work for long and Flemeth says pretty much the same thing. Plus I felt it was prudent to not anger the nice lady who saved my life and could royally screw me over later if she so desires. It pays not to make enemies of entities like her.

Or maybe an opening cutscene of Kate Mulgrew sitting at a computer saying "Damn! now I'll have to re-roll her."

As to how that ties into what the Warden might or might not have done in DAO regarding Flemeth-- well, you'll just have to see. But we certainly don't ignore it.

As we've pointed out before, Hawke meets Flemeth right after the fall of Lothering-- this is after the Warden first meets Flemeth but before it's possible to get and perform Morrigan's quest to kill her.

Waaaait just a minute, Mr. Gaider.
We know that Hawke meets Flemeth right after the Warden first meets her, but...
Her change of appearance, is the change in the art direction, or does Flemeth changed shapes to look older in the hut and "younger" when meeting Hawke? Also...did she meet Hawke and then goes back to the hut to meet the Warden again?
This...kind of confuses me, but we'll just have to wait and see.
Another question, a bit off-topic. The Darkspawn, it was said a while ago that their change is because of a disease, then a few days ago you said that it was because of the different art style. So, what's it then?

Because of a disease? When was this said?

I'll have to check, but I'm quite sure it was said, I don't remember who.

Nonsense, just because she is old does not mean that she has trouble getting up and down stairs.
