In my silliness I forgot that Target was supposed to be attractive. If not attractive, distraction tactics or stabbity would be used. Followed by a trip to the brothel. Maybe. She could just go to some tavern and cheat some folks for their money. Yay money!

This cannot be said enough by anyone. The Conan stories often follow the same basic formula, but they can be surprisingly powerful. I need to get on to reading his Bran Mak Morn stuff, too....

I'd recommend Dark Horse Comics' Conan series, too. Conan #1-#50 and Conan the Cimmerian #1-#25 (the same title, rebranded at #50) were more or less uniformly excellent. There are trade paperbacks that collect them together.

In fact, I think it's only going to be about a year until we get to Bêlit in the Dark Horse chronology.

Most of what I know of Howard and Conan lore comes from Age of Conan and not anything Howard or any later authors actually wrote in the universe.

The first thing you must unlearn is that  "Hyboria" isn't the name of the world or the continent.

It's like calling Thedas "Dragonia" and makes me cringe every time.

Isabela strikes again!!

All of these Isabela + Shiny + target scenarios is giving me this mental image of how all gifts from Isabela are stolen goods. The obligatory sidequest comes when Hawke wears one of the gifts and the owner/someone who knew the owner thinks Hawke stole it. You then go through several rounds of persuade checks that, if failed, ends with Hawke spending a couple of days behind the slammer.

I wouldn't say that she'd do that because she's shallow. More like sex is a bonus for taking the shiny. So she finds Target attractive (or has heard Target is a great lover), seduction, sexing and stealing happen. Also, I don't know what Isabela finds attractive. I'm just being silly about this. Wait...if I'm being silly, why am I explaining myself? Because I wanna.

Edit: In regards to hilarious notion above. This ain't exactly like it but Neesee is being silly.
Target: Hey! That's my shiny you're wearing.
Hawke: What?
Target: Yeah. This hot Rivaini girl took it from me after some... *clears throat* She must have sold it or given it to you.
Hawke: (Persuade) (Lie) You're mistaken. I don't know any hot Rivaini women. Never met one before.
Target: Alright. I'll let you go. For now.

A random thought: CGI Isabela looks quite similar to Salma Hayek, to me, at least. Present in-game Isabela does not, however. Even so, Hayek would rock the Dragon Age world as her VA.

In truth, I prefer that Isabela be a woman who has sex because she enjoys having sex. Not a woman who has sex because she gets shiny things or favors for it.

Yes, she could do both - Leliana seemed to do both - but I'd like to see a female character who sticks to the first and manages material acquisition through other, non-****ing skills.

he was attracted to girls that had pcycho exes and killing all the men she slept with, he was honored to be the first man she slept with that she didnt kill, and of course im being sarcastic
