Your response was basically that as long as it's consensual, it's fine.

In my mind, 'she chooses to' is the bare minimum.

Could it be you are looking at the "she chooses to" in the sense "she doesn't get forced into it but it tells nothing about whether she likes it" while i look at it in the sense "she likes it a lot and so she does it instead of other things"?

It's just the requirement that she doesn't do something she's supposed to enjoy if it involves getting additional benefit from it ... it feels a bit like demanding someone who loves to make games shouldn't work at BioWare for example, or a wine connoisseur shouldn't ever make a buck tasting wines.
