Hopefully Rouges will be able to take care of themselves a little more this time. Isn't that supposed to be the point of their newfound agility?Maria Caliban wrote...

Also, awesome work, Psudeo. You are my Christmas hero.
Someones going to have to make a mod for DA2 called Dragon Effect and have all the companions in Tron uniform.

Wow, Rooster02 did an awesome job with Isabela. I like both the pose and the way she looks there.

(Okay, so the main purpose of this post was to bring the Isabela thread back to page 1. Don't hit me! I was wondering where it had disappeared to. I felt compelled to comment on the fan art anyhow, I *ADORE* it. Hopefully this isn't considered thread necromancy. Perhaps if it was a month old.. this hadn't been posted on for 11 days, so it was just in comatose for a while. Let's just say Isabela was on one of her pirating adventures for a week and a bit and has now only just arrived back)
P.S. Some fan art of Isabela and Fenris sharing a conversation was posted on the Fenris thread recently. Here it is:

Just seems female characters don't generate as much discussion/interest as the males -- the elf guy thread has twice as many pages in just twenty days or so.Golden-Rose wrote...

It's similar with Alistair fan thread vs Morrigan and Leliana ones, for what's worth.

So I tried to do some digital painting, and this time it is a calm Isabela watching Hawke leave in the darkness. (If you want to see all the tiny mistakes and not just the big ones, right click copy/past the url of the picture)

her necklace earrings piercings.... ugly. Her Da:O version was better. Gimme mah morrigan back! cuz she is not good looking as leliana or morri! just a dark skinned pirate girl with extra ordinary big body pieces at some places. Gimme mah Morrigan back or I FIRE MY LASER!!!!
Morrigan's personality made her extremely ugly to me... bitter little manipulative witch. I for one like the darker skin shade... her bling is also fantastic.

Also, whenever I type a male celebrity's name in my Google bar, the first word that follows in the suggestions is "naked". When I type a female celebrity's name, it's never the case. Maybe because the p0rn market is so machocentric, women have to fall back on celebrities and video game characters ?

Alexandra is an agile, promiscuous yet intimidating assassin with thigh-high boots and long black hair. In case you wonder why her face is green, she's a snake-woman (all the characters are zoomorphic, but it actually matches the style and universe very well).
For anyone who likes fantasy and good comic books and can read French (or wants to learn), I vivaciously recommend reading those books ; there's about 30 of them to this day (production has slowed down lately due to the authors' various projects) ; the series are splitted in three eras with albums coming out in random order, making you speculate about loopholes, the monsters, creatures, environments etc. are cool as hell, the characters are brilliant and truly humane despite their appearance, you laugh a lot and cry as well depending on the album (some are very dark, others hilarious, others nostalgic and philosophical). It's like a whole mythology orchestrated by two of the most talented and innovative artists I know of and because of that paragraph I just wrote, I just want to have no life for a week and read them all again. Sorry for the digression but I definitely saw some Isabela/Alexandra similarities (not mentioning the names).

On a more serious note. I'm looking forward to DA2 mostly for Bela (yes I call her Bela for short.. sue me). I know it's a lost cause, but one of the things I'd like to see is us being able to play her 'card' game during down time. Party camp or whatever the equivalent is this time. I know a lot of people hate mini games but not everyone does. Long as they are not too complex and do not hinder game play I enjoy doing them. Dice game from Witcher for example. Something that is not mandatory to do, unless you choose to.

I kinda wish Izzie was wearing something closer to that, at least from the waist down... I mean I love everything else about her, but the only thing that bugs me is that she doesn't wear pants.

I view it as her wearing a one piece miniskirt type thing. Think a womans 'little black dress'.

Somebody from the Locked forum asked if she renamed he ship when her husband died.
I wanted to say that this is unlikely because renaming a ship is bad luck.
The English did it all the time with prizes during the height of the Royal Navy's power and influence. Renaming one's own ship, though might be different.
Actualy, they did it rarely. Usually when they already had a ship of that name, or the name was too revolutionary themed during the war with France. England actualy had a ship named the "City of Paris" for a time. Many captured English/ British ships of the 19th century kept their French or Danish names. Sailors (even admirals) were very superstitious about the smallest things in the age of wooden ships. Renaming a ship is stil considerred by many to be bad luck.
