I have nothing more to really add to this thread. I love Isabela. I look forward to romancing the HELL out of her. I think she looks great in the new dev vid, and not at all masculine (in fact, I absolutely adore her design).  Why is every one so afraid of these stronger looking female characters? Feh.

Also, I'm cosplaying her (wallpaper version, since I had NO IDEA how dark she was when I started the costume, and I'm decidedly paler) soon, should be interesting. I will definitely be wearing some sneaky shorts, though.

Pretty much my thoughts exactly. I mean, some of us women like it a little rough too, it doesn't need to be sweet and cute all the damned time! I also agree with you on the rest, I look forward to sneak into her quarters.

Especially if she has Mal and Han influences, I mean let's face it, Isabela is shaping up to be really awesome.

See now, if I were interested in derailing this thread, I would mention something about her having great personalities. Two of them.
But I'm not, so I shan't. So yeah, the story video gave us a bit more Isabela goodness, so I can't complain.

What would you like to see for Lady Hawke?

I suspect he wants something softer and more "Romantic."  I for one am glad that we are getting a partner that might not be as passive as Leliana or Alistair.

Yes I'd love for the scene do be raw, carnal and branding-iron hot and rough. But....in a scene with a femhawke and Isabela I'd like Femhawke and Isabela to focus more on touching, on exploring, on vying for whoever is going to be on top, on pressing more of their forms against one another to feel the flesh yelding in a way male flesh does not......good god I am getting in the gutter.....

what I am trying to say is the way Isabela jumps Hawke and wraps her legs agaisnt him is very good in my mind for a Malehawke + Isabela pairing but I'd see it differently in my head if it was a femhawke and isabela scene.

hard to say, I'm not planning to play as femhawke.....yet IF I did that's what I would imagine as opposed to a love scene that is just coped and pasted from Malehawke

well..the thing is what "attracts" me in a girl on girl scene (not porn........not necessarily) is that it is two female bodies, their bodies look and feel and react differently to stimuli than a male body (they also have different strength). if the two scenes are identical this diversity just does not exist and as such I'd find the scene boring. As I said, I have ZERO against a rough, scorching girl on girl scene, just as long as.....

1: it was intended for two girls and two girls alone...not just a copy and paste scene from the M-hawke romance
2: it was done with two girls who are actually attracted to one another and not putting up a show (which is usually what happens in other media)


Hence the reason behind my example, a scene that plays differently from the Male romance and plays up to the subject being depicted.

I for one would also like to see different 'love' scenes with Isabela/FemHawke vs. the male version. The copy/paste method troubles me as the scenes are animated for MaleHawke and probably won't look as great with a FemHawke just pasted in their instead, for starters, due to the differences in the model sizes.



I also like the idea of the two romances differing in some respects. I would imagine Isabela would approach a relationship with a female differently than with a male. Also, because of all the above mentioned sex stuff.
