I for one would also like to see different 'love' scenes with Isabela/FemHawke vs. the male version. The copy/paste method troubles me as the scenes are animated for MaleHawke and probably won't look as great with a FemHawke just pasted in their instead, for starters, due to the differences in the model sizes.

This is true. I doubt there will be a significant difference, however, because unlike DA:O/ME, each companion has their own homebase and their own 'sexy time' animation.

To branch slighty off the point being made here....

Am I the only one who's absolutely delighted by this?

The novelty of a romantic tryst in front of  a tent/campfire  was 'cool' I guess,  but it got old  really fast.  I think it's awesome that you'll now get  to do your thing in a proper  indoor home setting.

Sounds?  Like...  heavy Breathing, and moaning  and  "ooh, Yeah, right there!  Harder!  that's it!....  oooh!"?

Gawd I hope not.      I'll take some good mood music over  that sort of "realism" in this case.

May be trivial, but there is more open eye kissing. Morrigan always made me suspicious by doing this. Pretty creepy also.

exactly....what you mentioned is not "realism" that is putting on a show.

realism (and sexiness) is much more subtle. Realism is that soft, surprised little gasp torn from Liara's throat when shepard touches her "azure" as opposed to a pornstar's "oh yeah" blurted out the moment she is groped.

then again usually guys pay no mind to sounds because they (well...we) are hardwired to use our eyes to find something alluring.

It's a species thing. Sight is our most developed sense, so it's normal we use it as our main source of input.

let's keep things on topic, shall we?
you can discuss what you were talking about it as long as isabela is involved in it

cobra, you are not a mod and stop acting like the forum's babysitter asking pepople to desist from whatever they are doing that you perceive distruptive. For your information this tangent was pertinent to the desired differences between a femhawke + isabela love scene and a malehawke + isabela love scene.

Xewaka, yes indeed. It is also the reason tho why sound can be underestimated

isabela and her sexinessssss

now, mind in the gutter aside, I'm still curious about who her voice actress is going to be. Someone speculated Rana Thanoptis' VA

but if anyone from ME was to give her voice to Isabela I demand it to be Shiala. Her voice was delicious

isabela's voice actress for DA2 hasn't voiced any characters in bioware games making this her first role or debut as it were in bioware voice acting;)

What would you like to see for Lady Hawke?

Having the mental image of Ladyhawke turning tables on Isabela so to speak -- pinning her against the wall, arms held crossed above the head sort of thing. Moving on from there.

Suspect it's because Isabela seems to be used to taking dominant role, and countering that may push her out of comfort/safety zone. With male Hawke this could wind up feeling too stereotypical, but with two women it might work out ok, dunno.

Noticed this too, but it actually works pretty well for Isabela, i think -- she gives me impression of someone who keeps her guard up at (nearly) all time, and getting her comfortable and trusting towards you enough to actually close her eyes feels like a big deal/milestone.

I approve.

I see what you are saying.  The stereotype/cliche being the man eventually tames the wild woman, correct?

yes, hence my mentioning od vying for being on top in the scene

although about the male hawke thing...it's not "taming" the woman as much as the woman surrendering in my mind when it comes to Isabela.

look at the cgi trailer, look at the kiss scene with Isabela on the docks. Since the scene is reversed Isabela goes toward Hawke with a dagger in hand pointing it to him. Hawke disarms her and pulls her into a kiss (with a dip no less) while holding her arm. Notice she could have fought back, she could have struggled and Hawke's maneouve is far from forceful....come on it's Isabela, master duelist. And yet there she is returning his kiss, her hand in his hair not balled into a fist to attempt to pull him off but simply stroking while she lets him sustain her weight. That is her surrendering to him not him taming her.....and I totally approve. Much more meaningful that way.

It hit me that the room in which Isabela and Hawke have their "feelings" talk is pretty lavish. While I know Hawke has noble blood and thus likely some wealthy family with nice estates from the get-go, I couldn't help but wonder if this actually takes place years into the story and their thus-far-casual relationship.

Also, in the same scene Isabela seems to be adjusting her clothes while Hawke looks to be in a sitting position. I'm thinking maybe the sex scene shown in the vid happens before their talk.

Does anyone know if Isabela is getting a complete personality overhaul in DA2 or will it be true to what little we see of it in DA:O? She seemed quite friendly to my Warden, calling her 'sweet thing' and the like.

Same writer. Same character. Though she'll obviously be 'deeper' than what the original game showed.

I'm interested in how she'll tie into overall plot of the game.

It's probably at her place.

Will Isabela have a large tie into the plot if she's optional, though?

Or, do you mean just how she will be recruited/integrated into the party?

didn't one of the snippets about her reveal that after her ship sunk she was broke?
