Now if you are sooooo off put by this non official cgi rendering (yeah...non official, that site has all sorts of this stuff, and it would not be the first time some of these wallpapers get something wrong, hell even BLUR got certain things wrong in the ME2 and Sacred Ashes trailers) why don't you leave the thread?

That's "legendary hawke's" armor...you won't be wearing it aside for the exagerated parts

Hawke can equip different armours like in DAO, so you aren't stuck with this particular appearance.

I don't think you'll be able to selectively remove just the bits of it, though.

There's also the possibility that the knee-guards look less ridiculous in the actual game.

They look good for kneeing people in the gut. Less good for actually protecting your knees, but I like the concept of active defense.

I really hope it's not. The armor looks cool. Also I think they said the armor from the trailer is in the game, which could mean we'll actually be able to get it.

it's in every preview. The iconic armors (there's 3 of them) are availble during the exagerated parts only, so far no preview mentioned anything about Hawke being able to find them in the non exagerated parts of game....not saying you will not get one by the end of the game but that is supposed to be pretty high level stuff.

1. Can't say for sure, though it might have to do with getting some guy to leave her alone. Don't remember the name. Watch the lastest trailer she says the name there.

2. I know right! So much better:O I luv it

3. The Devs have thus far only said Varric will be interrogated, so, for the moment, there is no good reason to think anyone else will tell a story in a similiar fashion.

[/quote]If you could lift the knee high enough, those look like iron and thick at that, if they are attached by a strap then it's it would have to be tight, if it's a wide strap then bending the knee is going to be a problem, if a narrow strap then blood circulation could be a problem, of course some suspension of disbelief is required in these kind of games, for me it's mostly aesthetic, they look bloody awful.

DG: Dragon Age had Alistair, KotOR had HK-47, Mass Effect had a handful but Wrex stood out. Will any of them stick in your mind that people hold on to like Minsc and Boo?

ML: I actually think there will be a number of them that do in DAII, because they play to different types. The funny character often gets remembered. They’re memorable, they’re amusing. There are a number of them who would be the funny character. Varick is hilarious. Isabella is hilarious; she tells a lot of dirty jokes. She’ll probably stand out. Alistair always has the one liner, he always did. He was also a real person. Someone who is making the one liners because A) he was feeling really guilty about shirking his duty, as his royal blood suggested maybe he should be doing and because he was suffering in despair of losing his mentor. What made Alistair resonate was that he was a person under the gag, and that’s always been our approach in any companion. Trying to have them be memorable for more than just the one note hit. You have to get a whole drum kit in there.
