Another great winner
Lol make prints of this. Even though this style of political cartoon is not meant to be placed on the wall but printed on the second page in newspapers, this is spectacular art. Loving that censored black box on Isa's chest while none sees nothing wrong in those two dudes.
10 points with honours.
Why this sounded like a backhanded compliment?
Backhanded? Some sort of sarcastical comment saying the opposite what was written?
I am not interested to read the definition for your word, much less answer to your question, but for artist's sake I say my comment means literally what was written.
Edit: And nothing personal to you, that was just what I thought. I hate to explain myself.

Hawke:(smiling) Well, what with all the trouble that you put me through lately I think its high time for punishment.
Isabela: Kinky. Come here you.

"Isabela has an important role to play in the story, even if you never meet her. You just won't find out the answer to a particular question at a certain time if you don't." (Mary Kirby)
So intriguing! Argh!

Oh, I see. Okay then, I must have misunderstood it, sorry :<

the fact there is even a chance not to meet her scares me....I do not want to miss her!
Interesting, good to know, now I will have to be very careful to not read any spoilers so that I have a chance to miss her.

I'm more interested in what kind of role Isabela plays and what is that you'll never know if you don't meet her.
David said in the Fenris thread that all of the companions 1) Have a character hook, and 2) Have a stake in the story.
Number 2 is interesting for Isabela as she seems to be a drifter. There's something that's happening that she cares deeply about.
I wonder if the qunari are trying to take back Rivaini?

That only matters if Isabela is a patriot or nationalist. But if she is it would work.

or maybe Hawke should give Isabela some of her own medicine for a chance.
A world of Do Not Want.
Couldn't let it pass unsaid. Sorry. :B

Do you have to be a patriot or nationalist to be unhappy when you hear your hometown has been invaded by a group of religious extremists?Upsettingshorts wrote...

You don't have to particularly like your family to hope they aren't killed or enslaved.

On a non-personal level? Yes, I think so. I mean, we're talking about beyond simply being bummed out by the news if that's going to be her hook into the plot, right?

True, but I wouldn't equate family in quite that way with country of origin.
