The demo announcement today mentioned Isabela as a romantic interest. (Not like we were on pins and needles wondering. =p) Is she the first to be officially confirmed now?

After finishing the prologue, players will enter a key new location in the world of Dragon Age, Kirkwall, befriending Isabela, a romantic interest in the game who is also a deadly smuggler.

Carver and the rest had no idea what Isabela was getting them in to, by pseudocognition:

Guess none of them knew how well Isabela can cheat at cards or they'd never have agreed to it.  

Merrill seems to be getting in the mood though, with that elfroot.

I'll be keeping those 2 in my party as much as possible. I have a feeling their banter will be epic.

My thoughts as well! Considering they seem to be two of the earlier companions we have access to I'm almost worried that I won't find time to have anyone else in the team (the first time around at least), this is made even more of a problem due to me being a Bethany fan.

It is. You can get into some serious Body Horror territory with what's possible today in breast augmentation.

That said, there's nothing wrong with the size of Isabela's bosom.

An ice queen implies someone who is very standoff-ish and generally unpleasant towards others. Isabela strikes me as being friendly, open and very sensual. However, she doesn't allow for a lot of emotional attachments or does not easily enter a relationship that consists of anything beyond physical intimacy.
