Is it actually confirmed by Bioware that she's available for FemShep too? Or is it just wishful thinking or assumption based on DAO?
It is confirmed for Femshep. Sadly, it is not for Lady Hawke.

"oh hey, I like this new voice actress."
slaves
"wait, what's this about slaves, you were transporting slaves? I ought to let them gut you right here!"
I rescued slaves from another ship when I found out.
"Oh... oh... oh...... so which room was yours?"

I wonder to what extent, if any, Riviani culture would influence this.LPPrince wrote...
Here's a thought-
How will romancing Isabella be different as a Hawke or Hawkette?
Leliana had different paths to her romance depending on gender. I wonder if Isabella will have something similar.

I'd bet that for all of them. I wonder if the passing of time is actually going to be referenced and necessary, however. Or if it'll be possible to front or back load.LPPrince wrote...
I bet her romance can't be truly culminated for years.

There is this brazilian romance, Luciola. The title character is a prostitute, but after some time she refuses to have sex with the main character anymore because she want to experiment the other parts of a relationship. Not that I'm implying that Isabela is like a prostitute, obviously, but it's not entirely nonsensical to have a romance this way.
Of course, the main character was a whinny little bastard, so maybe Lúcia was just trolling him.
It's like the Morrigan romance? They started out having sex and then she put a stop to it? That doesn't actually strike me as chaste.
However, I still think that makes little to no sense for Isabela. She's not a fallen woman. She is not damaged goods.* She presumably know what love is and doesn't need the PC to show her that a relationship can be more than sexual. That's a narrative that makes sense for a swamp witch who was raised to seduce men, use them, and kill them.
*I hope.
Yes, you're probably right. :<
PS: And yes, they had sex then stopped. Just like Morrigan, but it was more because Luciola thought her sex time was 'dirty' and wanted to have love, not carnal pleasure.

She's a badass space marine voiced by Jennifer Hale. I can see her stealing Lady Hawke's LIs from right under her.
That said, Isabela seems to be a generous soul. Perhaps she'd share herself between the two PCs just so there's no hard feelings.

Would be interesting if, after the "I want to get feelings involved in this"-part, Isabela bails on you, then comes back a few years later (her absence being during a time skip, ofc).

So Dhiro- Gonna romance Isabella with a male or female Hawke?
Probably female, if not both :<

Me too. Would strike an emotional blow on my heart like when Morrigan left. Difference is Morrigan didn't come back and Witch Hunt was a failcake with Suck flavored Ice Cream all over it.

Would you guys find it appealing if she's been with many people, but Hawke is the first person she's truly loved? Not just cared about but she feels that Hawke is her soul mate?

I'd find that to be awesome if only it took actual WORK to get her to feel that way.
It'd be an even more emotional blow if towards the end of the game she tells you that you were great fun but weren't someone she could see herself settling down with. She's still your friend but won't go further than that.

As long as she doesn't say it. I'm not much for sappy exchanges. But it's nice as an implication.Maria Caliban wrote...

My sarcasm.
I've been disenchanted with DA2 since I heard we were playing Shepard instead of our Warden.

Doesn't really make a difference for me appeal-wise if she's fallen in love before or not, provided it's not some old Carth-syndrome she's not gotten over (being someone's replacement-LI = not appealing for me).

It would of course depend in how it's handled. I'd like to have it implicated, but I'm confident the amazing Miss Chee could pull it off flawlessly with a conversation.
Anyway, I don't see the Izzymance ending badly. I can see some serious conflict (like her leaving for a couple years) around the middle of the romance arc, but I think it's going to have a satisfying ending.
Or maybe it'll be like the Alistair arc and have one single very unhappy ending (she dies, or is lost at sea or what have you). I think the Morrigan of the game, in terms of tragedy, is going to be Anders.
