I love fighting for Isabelas life, tho it's more sweeter if your Hawke is in love with her

I have to say that my favorite line that Isabela has in-game is "Justice is an idea. It makes sense in a world of ideas, but not in our world."

That one line made me see Isabela as being more Mal from Firefly rather than a Captain Jack style character. She has principles, but she's not the sort of person that tries to force them on to other people

I like how I went from disliking Isabela, to liking her on Aveline's Act 2 quest, and liking her even more when she betrayed me. Then liking her way more when she came back

I gotta say that before Dragon Age 2 was released I wasn't sure about romancing anyone. But then Isabela blew me away, she's such an awesome character! She's my number one character of DA2 even beating Varric which is surprising =P she is the best romance =)

It was refreshing to see how both Isabela and Merrill got along so well, usually the two leading ladies in BW games are at eachothers throats (Miranda-Jack, Leliana-Morrigan). It was like a big sister little sister relationship. I love what Isabela says in reference to Hawke 'mancing Merrill, to paraphrase "I'm happy for you two, but do anything nasty to her and I'll cut off your balls."

I think what attracted me to Isabela over the others is her cheerful attitude without being... well, self-destructive. She's not codependent, but she's still fun to be with.

I kind of wish there was a bit more to her story though. She's the only love interest that doesn't get kidnapped by the templar/mage conspiracy (which I was rather sad about). I kind of wish she'd do more to acknowledge the romance... it seems almost secretive, aside from the offhand comments in passing (I think she has a dialogue with Sebastian, Gamlen makes a mention, Leandra makes a mention and I think Aveline said something once).

I guess the real issue is that there's no bridge between Act 3's "I think I'm falling" and the very end, so it seems rather sudden. It's a pretty big gap emotionally, and I wish there was something there that helped fill it.

Isabela's relationship with Merrill is awesome. I about died laughing when Merrill said Isabela was going to teach her about 'body-shots' at The Hanged Man xD

I do like that Isabela tells Merrill she does not want her(Isabelas) life. It shows that Isabela knows her life is not the best and does not want someone as sweet as Merrill to follow in her footsteps.

The other thing I do like is that Isabela and Aveline grow to like each other as the game goes on. At first they hate each other but in the end they are friends well sort of.

I noticed there's a mod at the Nexas to make Isabela white with blonde hair and blue eyes. I don't recall ever seeing mods to make Leliana or Morrigan darker.

I know it's a personal preference and doesn't effect my game, but this is one of the reasons I dislike character 'fixes.'

I'm about to go into Act 3 this weekend, Isabela is going pretty much not going to be leaving my side until the end of the game. She's just too awesome to leave at the Hanged Man, far too useful. It's going to be interesting to see how the romance with Hawke plays out, the acts at the end of Act 2 changed her quite a bit I think, or at least part of her outlook on things.

Yep, me too. I'm a huge Ashley Williams fan BUT, Isabela just blew her out of the water......no pun intended.

I am a Tali fan and Isabela's awesomeness just pushed her out of the way. I didn't think it was possible but then again there it is

Actually, she does as long as she is not in your party and your sibling is not alive.
