Can you explain the "Anders" part? I seem to have missed that.
A random banter between Anders and Izzy says that at some point Anders found himself in the Pearl, and... yeah, you can figure out the rest by yourself I think.

Anyone here attempting Isabela's rival romance?

I know Leliana makes an appearance right at the end of the game, but I never actually met her during the game. Does this have anything to do with DA:O imported saves? Or did I just do something wrong not to get to meet her?

Okay, I'm slightly convinced. Can you tell me how it is different? I just can't see Isabela treating anyone roughly, but that's just me.umwhatyousay wrote...
Rivaling Isabela's difficult but I like her rivarly arc more than the friendship one. I've only ever friendmanced her and rivalfriended(?) her, but I liked the latter a lot more. The end is sweeter and the middle is hilarious (well, "hilarious." I just really like the opening joke).

I picked Isabela in my first playthrough using default Hawke, somehow it feels hard to see Isabela with any of other Hawkes now (even mine). Guess that's how OTP thing works.

You can rivalrymance her.
Getting her to rivalry is difficult. My original PC ate rainbows and crapped sunshine, but she was also polite and helpful with Isabela. I restarted my warrior today in an effort to get her rivalry and am at -40 with Isabela. Merrill is at +65. I just entered the Deep Roads.
Hopefully, as I'm already at -40, she'll start taking my 'friendly' comments as annoying and my gifts as insulting.

Well, for first, to even get her come back after act 2 you have to get her friendship over +50. So rivalry from there must be nearly impossible. Tell me how you succeed!
Isabela's the coolest. I'm so romancing her. The game is so much better with her in it.
