How can I tell if I romanced Isabela right? Im on my mage playthrough and I just started act 3 and completed the quest where you talk to her at the hangman.

Does she have another quest after that?

I think I screwed up my playthrough. I slept with Isabela early on. After Act 3 she "fell in love" with my character. Then I hit what I thought would be a flirty type saying and I ended up sleeping with Merrill. LOL. After that the mage/templar fight began. That is where I stand now. At the fight between the Templars and Mages. I had no other missions except a bugged one. Grr. I wanted to ride off on the boat with Isabela. haha.

If you have romanced Isabela right, she'll confess that she's got feelings for Hawke after the talk about her ship (or lack thereof) at the Hanged Man in act 3. There's no further real relationship dialogue past that, though there are snippets here and there, such as:

- Give her the Act 3 gift
- Rescue her from the kidnappers in Act 3

There's a variation on the Merrill/Isabela "I think Hawke likes you" banter. If it comes out after Isabela gets her ship:

Merrill: I think Hawke likes you, Isabela
Isabela: I certainly hope so!
Merrill: Of course, it's not surprising at all that anybody would love you, but it's nice to see you two happy.
Isabela: Merrill, sometimes you're so sweet I could eat you for dessert.

Thanks for clarifying that. I never found the necklace, so I never saw the conversation first hand. I was just going off what Prince of Kemet had written.

The wiki is a thing of beauty but fan speculation seems to pop up on the trivia section like weeds in a garden.

My rivalmance with Isabela is going well. "You're boring. Sleep with me. That was good, but you're still boring."

After the quest where I take Donnic to the tavern and he thinks I'm hitting on him, I accidentally clicked on Isabela in the tavern and her Questioning Beliefs bit for Act 2 popped up. She didn't have a quest marker and it wasn't in my journal.
