I can tolerate Fenris, but Carver touching Isabela? That would take my righteous fury  to another level.

Oh no! Nobody is allowed to touch Isabela except my Hawke (unless it's a 3-some were talking about..).

I understand that Posted Image.

But Carver is just... he is something else. It's my sacred duty as his ingame brother to ****block him to prevent the spreading of his hereditable douchebaggery.

The clinic scene is actually sort of kind of random. You either see the seneschal or Isabela talking to Anders. And if you've talked to Fenris earlier, you'll figure out that she bedded the seneschal to keep him from investigating Fenris' illegal acquisition of a Hightown mansion.

The fact of the matter is that people missed or purposely ignored seeing Isabela helping out a friend in need.

I don't know. This is one of those things that bothered me to begin with. There's no real indication that Isabela bedded anybody to help Fenris. The exact words were:

Isabela: So the seneschal's tax collector won't be coming around again, like you asked. Funny story.
Fenris: I'll pass, but thank you for the help.
Isabela: Spoilsport. Why you want to squat up here in Hightown is beyond me.
Fenris: I like the view.
Isabela: So do I.

You could connect those dots, but it's tenuous. Would she do something like that? Maybe. But I'd like to think that she'd be more than equally willing to blackmail, stab, duel, or bargain, all of which could result in funny stories.

My first thought was that she simply caused the tax collector to "vanish" or threatened him.
But axl99's theory sounds not impossibly far-fetched. The seneschal is no Emile and if he keeps his mouth shut he isn't that annoying or revolting.

However I prefer my version and keep thinking that she used other methods. Our 'Bela is too good for that sleazy politician.

Count me among those who would expect Isabela to use other methods.

Leliana, on the other hand - maybe not so much.  Leliana is a master manipulator/creative storyteller and prefers to avoid violence ("I never liked this part!", "I tried to be merciful!"), choosing more subtle methods instead - including the promise of sex to get what she wants from someone.  (Whether/how often she actually went through with it is anybody's guess).

Isabela hates "emotional stuff", and I would expect her to use more direct methods.  I could easily see her stealing/changing/planting false documents, threatening blackmail, etc. to get someone to see things her way.

This. I feel the same way about Carver and Merrill. Except I want to murder the brother to protect the blood mage. I don't even like Carver on my current non-Merrill-mancing-playthrough.

We need more options to verbally abuse our companions. At the end of DA II, I wanted to tell Carver to go die in a fire.

Grey Warden or Templar Carver?

Aggro!Hawke can get at him a bit in Act 1, but nothing after that.

From the creator of the "Slap Morrigan!" mod, comes the only DAII add-on you'll ever need!

As much fun as punching carver whenever my heart desires is, I'd rather discuss the pirate queen. So I've started writing a new story. Hopefully it will be another fun romp.

Well... you could just ask Anders. He is a mage and I'm pretty sure that he has enough justice for everybody. Ahahaha... Posted Image

Is it justice or vengeance?

I doubt Anders himself is clear on that issue. He sure loves to blur the lines.

I agree. As much as I want to admire Isabelas face in the first one, my eyes are betraying me. But since it's Isabela it's probably working as intended if I stare at her bosom. Posted Image

I love the style of the second one! Darn to be able to draw anything past stickmen...

Just about to duel the arishok, I think this is my favourite part of the whole game. Specifically Isabela stepping onto and over the qunari :) Those boots...

Anyway I've shown my best mate a few clips of Isabela on YouTube to explain the sheer awesome that is Isabela and this lead to a rather interesting English lesson. It started with "Did he...Shake your speare?" and has since escalated.

*reads last sentence to try to remember the point she was going to make* UMMM, Isabela is awesome because her influence made Hamlet FUN? Yeah that.

She is well-versed.

I would have thought that the boots alone would have made your point of awesomeness. Or at least been item #1 on a long list. Hopefully you have convinced your friend and made a new convert to the fold.  Posted Image

i gotta add my admiration for Izzy, before i got the game i thought she would be the typical big-boobed, show your knickers, style gaming female (which i dont mind at all), but it was a very nice surprise to find a strong, independant and wonderful character underneath the knickers and boobs

good to see BW realised the right way to do female chars ingame...i would worry about any red-blooded male (or female) that would turn down a dirty weekend with Izzy...despite the consequences

EDIT: ooh, any chance some clever bod could make Lady Hawke and Izzy versions of my sig pics?
