I thought your Hawke wasn't despicably evil?

I was thinking Aveline would give them to her. Hawke would give her random Raviani items she plucked from a barrel or crate in the sewer.

My warrior Hawke would bring her a bottle of colored sand, seashells, and a ship's wheel she'd scavenged from the coast. Mage Hawke would buy her clothing and perfume, maybe a jar of honey.

Those are some nice ideas.

I love the chastity belt one the most.

So we've covered what sorts of gifts Isabela would give folks. What sort of gifts would Hawke and the companions give to Isabela? We've got two nice examples already (ship in a bottle, rivaini fertility talisman). What else might they give?

Not sure who would give what, but I'm thinking the companions would gift her with something for her newly acquired ship. Something to spruce up the captain's quarters - gauzy veils to hang around the cot, lanterns with colored glass, very soft velvety and silky things to recline upon.

Maybe Merrill could get her a parrot, so that Isabela fits the proper literary picture of what pirates should be.

I'm a sucker for a bottle with a sweet design. Make it all sexy to boot, and I'll kneel before the goddess of libations.

I used to do that until I came across Jones soda. The bill shocked me to my senses. Then I went on a DnD drinking binge. If you ever do that, I liked Bigby's Crushing Thirst Destroyer, and thought that Potion of Healing was horrible.

The Spellcasting Soda looks a bit daunting. I have found that I cannot do a lot of fruity drinks anymore. Tastes have changed and all that. Natural juices, real fruit - I can indulge in all the live-long day, but fruit-flavored things...not so much. But the Jones set may wind up as a gift for a friend of mine, to go along with his d20 magic 8-ball.

I'll bet. Is it the panic or the school-girl outfit that does the trick?
(frankly, it's a bit too La Blue Girl for me. Tentacles go to naughty places, some unbiddingly so.) Posted Image

She talks about whiskey at least once if not more.

Whiskey when you're well makes you sick.

Whiskey flavoured with rat droppings. At least acording to Hawke.

I get the feeling Izzy isn't picky about what she drinks, as long as it'll get her drunk.

Nonsense! :P

As she told Velasco:

"Contrary to popular belief, I do have standards."

Granted, they're curious standards, but standards nonetheless. :wizard:

I'm pretty sure 'Bela has the same drinking habit I have. Don't care what you drink as long as it makes you drunk. Posted Image

But didn't Hawke mention the rat****-flavoured Whiskey when they talked about Bela's drinking all day?
The Hanged Man seems to have a lot of strange stuff for their costumers. Whiskey with rat****, the strange mystery meat stew...

i always thought of pirates drinking rum instead of whiskey...im gonna stick with the stereotype here...Izzy is a rum girl

I can just imagine her marooned on an island with Jack Sparrow and an underground cache of rum Posted Image

You can have standards and still not be picky. I'll eat almost anything, but I still have standards for quality.

Standards are important. If you have to eat to survive, you might as well take pleasure in only the finest ingredients and combinations.

As far as La Blue Girl comparisons go, at least the label didn't have any thorny bits exposed. And no one was exploding from demonic liaisons. But maybe the flavor of the beverage mimics that experience.

Are there people who don't eat to survive?

Edit: It occurs to me that I misread you.
