Probably not. But seeing it should be interesting.

She can bed more people than that. It's simply that you only know of her bedding those specific people. I'm not sure how that shows she has standards either.Master Shiori wrote...
I agre. She definitely has standards.
Honestly, during the course of the entire game there are only 3, possibly 4 people she can bed:
1) Hawke (if romanced)
2) Fenris (if Hawke romanced neither him nor Izzy)
3) Zevran (friends with benefits thing here)
4) Seneshal Brann (at least it's implied, not 100% certain here)

We simply know more about who she beds (or has bedded) than we do with the other companions. We can rule out Aveline, Varric and Sebastian, but who knows how much action Fenris or Anders are getting? A lot goes on in Hightown behind closed doors, and Darktown is...well...dark and dank. Plenty of places to have a tumble. And who knows what Merrill is doing. She keeps ogling the Qunari, after all...

Anders makes a comment that suggest that he MAY have slept with Isabela at one point or another.
The lightning thing? I always took that to be the product of some drunken night at the brothel where all of the doors flung open and there was some big sexy party like in Benny Hill. Someone was naked, someone was weeping, someone hung from a chandelier, someone threw lightning bolts.

Actually, I have no idea what conversation you're talking about
I mean the comment in a banter with Fenris, if you've romanced both of them, in which he says sleeping with Isabela doesn't count because she "comes with the meal.*" It sounded to me like he was saying "Yeah, well, I've done that, so it's fine!" Obviously, I'm not saying that that's how he meant it, only that it could totally go that way.
*I just noticed the double-entendre here. Hubba hubba.

- Anders: I keep thinking I know you from somewhere...
- Isabela: You're Fereldan, right? Ever spend time at the Pearl?
- Anders: That's it!
- Anders: You used to really like that girl with the griffin tattoos, right? What was her name?
- Isabela: The Lay Warden?
- Anders: That's right! I think you were there the night I—
- Isabela: Oh! Were you the runaway mage who could do that electricity thing? That was nice...
- Hawke: Please stop talking. Now.

Is Isabela's rivalry path any good?
It's my favorite path with her. I actually appreciated her character a lot more during the rivalry path.
A bit of rival Isabela...
Also, what's this about Isabela and Seneschal Brann? When is that ever mentioned?

In fairness it really depends on the meal doesn't it?

Some people interpreted a comment a certain way. When she tells Fenris that the seneschal's tax collector won't be coming around any more. That's all she says, but some people assumed she had sex.

Wow, I've never seen that...that's pretty interesting. I think I'll give the rival a go next time.

I suppose it also depends on the circumstances. If you're being served a meal, it would be polite. If you made the meal, it would be expected. If you get the meal at a stand by the side of the road...not so sure. Although some foodtrucks and noodle stands are hidden culinary treasures, so it's open to interpretation.Blansten wrote...

That conversation alone has made me like Isabela so much more. I already liked her character, but now I actually love her character.
My only issue with rivalry is how hard it is to flirt with her and stay on the rivalry path. So many friendship points for sleeping with her...

I guess I'll have to avoid the flirting then
I think it will be easy to go rival with my canon Hawke, as she's a bit of a goody goody (she doesn't tell Martin where his cargo is, for instance).
I do like the amount of self-reflection that Isabela goes through at this time. Plus, she's quite practical about the whole thing, knowing that she's not going to change over night and doesn't hold herself to an unrealistic standard.

I might even be tempted to romance her... but how could I ever resist Merrill?
Don't click on the hearts when talking to Merrill...simple!

If you plan ahead and are willing to do pretty much all the things that give rivalry it's possible to get away with the flirting, but many of the things that give rivalry are things I don't want to do with my canon Hawke (like letting the magistrate's son live). Sarcastic Hawkes also have it hard to gain rivalry with her, since a lot of rivalry points are earned in converations where you pick the polite or aggresive choices.
And yeah, I also love how she's realisitic about trying to change. Simply listening to her reflect on her actions is good enough for me.

That's odd, no matter how many times she returns with the Tome of Koslun, I always hand her over to the good 'ol Arishok. So I don't really listen to her reflect upon her previous actions. And if Hawke killed off The Arishok, Sten would not be pleased. BTW, is there an Arishok fanthread yet? I'd like to "satisfy a demand of the Qun"
Sorry for going off-topic *hangs her head in shame*

Well, I always make Loghain a Grey Warden while also showing my support for alcoholism.
So have I. Six out of nine playthroughs. Long live The Hero of River Dane! (The Stolen Throne really opened my eyes. So much so that i'll never decapitate Loghain again).

Good, perhaps we should go appreciate him in his thread and leave this one for Isabela. You know, for the people who actually like her.
True. If only she had some redeeming qualities...
