2) discussion topic....who does Izzy have the best banter with...ive seen her with Merril (very sweet) and Aveline (very funny)...but what about others?

I like her banter with Anders. She can really put him in his place. Her banter with Varric is also great, especially when they're discussing "friendfiction" and Aveline is present. She also has one nice banter with Fenris when he explain what the Qunari would have done to her had Hawke turned her over to the Arishok.

3) do you guys like my new avatar over my old one?

I like it. Doesn't quite catch the eye so easily but it's very nice.

If imprisoning mages meant ice cream, I might have to reconsider my mage/templar stance!

Edit: And just because I feel the need, this was my Mother's Day gift to mom (and myself):

:huh:Uh, it's icecream. It's a ridiculous amount but it's still ice cream. I'm not saying i would eat the whole thing but it's tasty

@trobbins: Yes, but that amount of ice cream just seems like overkill to me.

I think it's meant to be shared. Ice cream is really at its best when shared with people you love, no matter how decadent the presentation may be.

Ah, that makes sense(even though the presentation makes me feel a bit sick). So, back on topic. Why doens't Isabela ever purchase a hat from that hat shop in Lowtown she keeps going on about? You would think that would be part of one her armor upgrades.

Hooray for ice cream!

I have been told that I have a second stomach dedicated to ice cream. I would not be surprised if this were true.

Yes, it was a lot of the sweet, delicious treat, but it was also celebration and an uncommon event (note: mother's day), and I wanted to give something memorable to mama HFIC. She loved it, the ice cream family had a great time, and nothing anyone can say could possibly make me feel guilty or unhappy about it. :wizard:

On an Isabela-related note, as some of you might know, I've written a seventh story for Snacking, and it will be available to the public soon. If you haven't read the sixth ("Yesterday"), I suggest you do so. I'm told it is good. Cheers.

That's too bad. I truly enjoy it when I find someone who is willing to give my ice cream the same appreciation I do. And if you share, people are much more likely to share theirs with you as well.

Truth be told, I don't either. I can appreciate those that do. I have been known however to share cake.

I said I don't share my ice cream, not that I couldn't appreciate someone else's ice cream. I tend to like other people's ice cream far more than my own.

And if you share, people are much more likely to share theirs with you as well.

I'd rather buy someone a scoop of the same flavor ice cream as mine than share mine.

I think it depends on the presentation. If it's a huge sundae like the pictured banana split, it's practically begging to be shared. If it's a cone, you might get a lick but you won't get much more than that, unless I give the whole cone to you and get a fresh one for myself. It also depends on how close I am to the person desiring to share.

I agree that a sundae like that begs to be split, which is why people tend to only get them when they're in the mood to split a sundae. It not really sharing if you bought something larger than normal for the purpose of splitting it. Is it?

Oh well, because I'm a liar, I am (unsuccessfully) attempting to convince a friend to split one of these with me right now.

I believe it still qualifies as sharing. You have something delicious that you enjoy with someone else. It's just premeditated sharing, rather than spontaneous sharing.

Also, I would share that with you so hard right now. I'm not even kidding. :pinched:
