Eliza has mad skills and is quite the scrumptious delight, but if you're talking about her playing Isabela...I'm not so sure. My first instinct it to say she's too petite/thin. Isabela always seemed like a healthy girl to me (in some places more than others), and she has a certain commanding presence. Not dismissing Faith/Echo altogether. Just trying to wrap my head around it.

(Perhaps this is an excuse for me to go watch my Dollhouse DVDs )

Actually... I have a little trouble wrapping my head around any actress portraying Isabela.  But I think Eliza is..... yummy.

Isabela clearly has standards - and the skillz to enforce them.

Something tells me that Isabela's "dry spells" are probably much more satisfying than the average individual's. It's all that alone time - it fosters the imagination. (The bawdy books she reads probably help as well.)

Oh, and no argument about the yumminess of Eliza Dushku. There's some talk about her joining Torchwood, which may mean I'll need to get off of my rump and actually start watching that (heard good things, just haven't committed).

Ha, I fortunately don't have to worry about that, and Leliana was much more accomodating. Keeping your warden in tact counts as a valid reason I suppose.

brings a bit of consitency between DAO and DA2...plus if you have an item spawning script you can get Izzy's DA2 outfit for your Warden to wear as well

I can understand wanting to change Isabela's look but what's with Flemeth? She's a shapechanger. The reason she appears the way she did to the Warden is that she wanted to come off as a crazy, old swamp hag.

well im pretty sure i did the nasty with both ladies during my canon run...would have been the sort of thing i would look up how to do after my first run...but i cant really check until i import the save into DA2...which is annoying...i tried using a profile viewer but it kept crashing when i loaded my save

its just one of those things thats gonna bug the hell out of me for the couple of weeks until i do a canon save import

Yes, I would expect Isabela to be quite capable of keeping herself entertained.

I generally did, just to ensure that she would not off herself if the Warden ended up making the Ultimate Sacrifice.  Plus - it seems like it helps her to fully escape the Chantry shell and get back to who she really is.

My canon Warden enjoyed Iona's company back at Castle Cousland, but beyond that was completely owned by Leliana.

I recently completed another DA:O playthrough just to see the differences in DA2, and it's been fun thus far. Isabela mentions knowing the "Hero of Fereldan" (did the 3-some in that import, but it was all for Leliana. Really.) when you first meet her, and Alistair is sitting in the Hanged Man boo-hoo-hooing after having bailed on his betrothed and abdicated the throne all because someone he doesn't like joined the Grey Wardens. It's pretty funny, in a very pathetic sort of way.

New art - yay!  It's beautiful.  Thanks for sharing.

hmm...must be my eyes...but im not keen on that pic....maybe its the style...just doesnt look like Izzy imo...like the attitude it puts forward though

Oh and no response about my avatar yet...so its here for a while at least...just need BW to release a toolset so some clever modders can make it happen ingame...hubba hubba

Well, in all fairness, kiddies may be wandering through the room when mom and dad are off hacking and slashing in an effort to save Kirkwall (or bedding pirates and mages just cuz). You wouldn't want to introduce little Sally or Billy to the wonders of human anatomy before their time.

I'm actually relieved. I love bag of limbs' work to death, but I was concerned for being unable to read this thread at work. Sorry that you had to change it Chugster, but I am happy I can come and read the thread again.

This isn't the 'dragon age only' forum. It's the BioWare Social Network forum. BioWare's games range from M for Mature to E for Everyone.
