I heard Izzy in an advert today on tv, split second it was 'who is that?', then i twigged on.

Did
a bit of browsing for kicks and found that Victoria Kruger did do a
commercial for some place called "Land of Leather." How apropros for
Isabela... ../../../images/forum/emoticons/wink.png

Hell
yeah. Victoria has nearly the same level of Audio Erotica as Claudia
Black. Not quite the same but it's close and it takes one hell of a
voice for me to admit that somebody could nearly reach the level of
Claudia Black. *drool* [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/grin.png[/smilie]

Speaking of which... I just posted a new story last night. It's appropriately titled "Appetizer". The link is in the sig, or can check my bio blog for it. Hope you all enjoy. /horntootle

Edit: I'm also totally thrilled. One of my readers is a fantastic artist, and she offered to do some art for me!

All she has to do is take them for a night run through Hightown a few times, that would sort them out. :P

She is fantastic, any hints as to which story she will be focusing on or is it for something more general?

I'm leaving it to her discretion, but she did mention wanting to do something for each story. Guess that means I need to write more stories to fully take advantage of her generous offer! :wizard:

That goes without saying. I am very excited to see what she does, I love the idea of a picture for every story.

I had this love/hate relationship with isabella. Honestly, the first 2 playthroughs I really did NOT like her. Yet after actually playing with her in my party more and then I maxed her friendship out I actually really started to like her. In fact she started to remind me of one of my best friends, and has been one of my favorite characters since.

I think a lot of people end up losing her in Act 2 and therefore don't really give her a chance. She is a bit "in your face sex" the first few conversations. Yet, I much preferred giving her a chance and having her as a friend. I love when she says "I don't have to watch myself around you." It makes me feel like all that bravado she puts on is more of a mask than anything. She really is a good person, but she isn't going to let anyone know that, LOL.

I loved rivaling her too. She calls you self righteous and boring, but in the end she is like "I think it's because of you that I'm finally ready to try and be a better person."

Like I said, the more I got to know Isabella, the more I loved her character. Right now i'm romancing her on a male Hawke, I love the "so, love them and leave them, eh?" banter. However, I find the romance to not be as fulfilling as I would like. Perhaps it gets better toward act 3. I'm just not feeling the "love" with her. The only real scenes you get in act 1 are the meet and greet and some musings about the relic. I guess I feel like Isabella isn't very connected to Hawke, and that is understandable. I bet she shines at end of Act 2 and Act 3 moreso than the beginning. I'll see if the romance is any different. So far, it kind of fizzles.

Yeah you need to carry on!

tbh my first playthrough I was only friends with isabela, since that level of sexuality puts me off touching her. By the end of the game I loved her as a character though, so next playthrough I romanced.

My reaction to the whole "sucking the meat from the bone without using your hands" thing was probably not very different from Varrics. That's one hell of a skill :D

And tutchangers is drawing pics for your stories? [girlmode] That is soooo awesome! *squeeee* [/girlmode]

The romance doesn't really kick into gear until about mid act II.

I'm still surprised that more people can't do it. It's way easier than eating crab without using your hands.:?

Can honestly say I've never tried it, though I am now curious and will probably make a fool of myself next time I eat a chicken leg...I will try not to hold a grudge when I end up soaked in gravy or something hoorayforicecream :P

Currently listening to Black Thumbnail wanting desperately to replay DAII for a fifth time, gosh darn it Isabela...

The trick to avoid the mess is to suck all of the wet stuff off first. You need a dry leg, or you'll dribble.:wizard:

Oh I just have Merrill in my mind now "Well that won't work, your tongue is nowhere near raspy enough, at best you'll just dribble a lot.."

Poor Hawke, the elf has been spending too much time listening to the pirate.
Thanks for the tip though, when I find me a chcken leg I'll elt you know how I get on. And loved the chapter by the way, actually on the subject of Merrill, I adore how you write her and am glad you feature her so often, nothing better than strolling round Kirkwall with your wench, your elf and your best buddy Cap'n man-hands in tow! Waiting not at all patiently for the next installment!

Why would you want to eat crab legs without using your hand?

I remember when my mother would drive us to the coast. They'd boil the crabs right at the pier and serve them honey biscuits. We'd eat on park benches under this giant canvas tarp because it was windy, raining, and cold, and steam would just pour out of the legs when you broke one.

And the seagulls were vicious. They'd waddle right up you and stare. So a moment's weakness and they'd steal your biscuit.

Why? Why do I have to live in a desert?

The same reason I'd eat a chicken leg without using my hand. To keep my hands from getting messy.

That does sound wonderful. My memories of eating crab with my family were stir fried dungeness crab legs broken into pieces doused in salt, pepper and random Chinese spice mixtures and sauces. To this day, I love Chinese restaurants where I can walk in and point at an aquarium and say "I want to eat that one". Preferably in mandarin.

And the seagulls were vicious. They'd waddle right up you and stare. So a moment's weakness and they'd steal your biscuit.
